09/2/2023 18:41 | A company so good Coldplay had a hit song about it. | netcurtains
26/1/2023 08:35 | This unloved sector, appears to be slowly edging its way back into the day light. Perhaps storage in these "hard times" is a growth industry? The recent trading statement (see header) appears to be quite upbeat too. | netcurtains
18/1/2023 16:17 | Nice trading update and company miles off its highs | netcurtains
08/8/2022 13:52 | Interesting one this. As a recession starts and house prices stabilise and then drop, will BYG benefit from those selling, then renting... to buy back later? Is this quite a resilient company for that reason? thoughts welcome...gla. | hubs
21/7/2022 07:36 | Looks a good trading update | netcurtains
24/2/2022 09:40 | Its possible this stock has now reached the floor as its pretty flat on a really bad day for the FTSE250. But lets see how it ends. One to watch. | netcurtains
20/1/2022 13:09 | LOL - price gone right back to October. Google has PE of 5.76 I suspect this has bust through everyone's stop loss and then some, I probably will double up soon... | netcurtains

15/1/2022 22:24 | buywell3: The entire sector is crashing - is that your opinion? This is the list that contains all the shares in this sector: I'm not convinced that the entire sector is overvalued. If anything, I'd say it was miles undervalued compared to the rest of the stockmarket - hence its rise over the past few months. One would expect, every now and again a small correction. Remember we're on a reasonable dividend yield too - which will only get significantly bigger on any falls. | netcurtains
15/1/2022 22:08 | It's not anywhere near to a P/E of 6 because you'd be using EPS that includes property re-valuation gains E.g. for 2021 pre-tax profit was £75m excluding revaluation gains compared to a BYG market cap of £2,879m Eric | pireric
15/1/2022 21:01 | None the less RSI move suggests 1450p retest imo | buywell3
14/1/2022 16:44 | Google says PE is now 6. And dividend Yield about 2.4% | netcurtains
07/1/2022 14:51 | Big Yellow has the 9th lowest PE ratio in the FTSE250 using googles figures. | netcurtains
17/12/2021 09:47 | debt ratio is very small here. which should be helpful if this is the start of interest rates climbing. | weemonkey
15/12/2021 08:26 | undervaluedassets: I use Big Yellow, I found the staff very knowledgeable and efficient, the prices very competitive and its great to have 24-hour access to your stock. I would, and do, recommend Big Yellow as a great place to store goods: whether its for a business, for student lets, house clearances, house sales or rentals. Obviously the business is growing, not just here but worldwide. There is a lot of growth to come. The PE ratio is tiny for such great growth potential There is a dividend too! | netcurtains
15/12/2021 08:19 | incredible stock to be in to weather inflation. virtually no input costs (you do not need to heat or light family air looms and piles of business inventory). And BYG can set prices as it chooses .. citing inflation as its excuse for so doing even though its costs are scarcely rising. | undervaluedassets
29/11/2021 20:23 | Thanks, nfs. The reason I wondered if it was 150p is that the closing price on 8 May 2000 was 140p, according to mornigstar.com (you need to click "Max") | bathcoup
29/11/2021 12:12 | It was 100p | nfs
28/11/2021 16:31 | Does anyone know the IPO price on 8 May 2000? Was it 150p? | bathcoup |
