That question is wrong. The idea that anyone needs to have actually done the specific thing involved is daft.

The question should be: what experience do you have in building a business in digital advertising ?

Because that is relevant to the comment on conferences.

It doesn't matter how 'leading edge' you think your business is, when its relatively small, getting sales is all about leg work to close the early users and you don't get to talk to them seriously, unless you track them down.

That goes for digital marketing and widget selling. Behaving like consultants does not sell anything, especially to people who are sent to conferences to have a quiet kip after lunch.

Put it another way. If your story and product are good enough in a new area, you will get to talk directly to potential clients in a meeting, by approaching them directly. If you've got 20 competitors selling some commodity, its just a lot harder.

...and where do the brochures from exhibitions go ? I think we know, don't we ?

I’m with you on a likely placing - it’s just a matter of when. I do not see how talking at conferences is going to help the company.

Alice Murphy-Pyle, Senior Marketing Manager, Penguin Random House UK, commented: 'We were pleased to see how well our ads performed in the study. We worked with Bidstack to promote three new releases and found it an innovative and eye-catching way to interact with a younger, predominantly male audience. Reaching 20-somethings who might not visit bookshops can be a challenge but gaming offers a fantastic route to engage with a group exactly where they are currently spending their leisure time."

Sign EA, get on rocket league and fortnite then won't need a fund raise. .Bids will have deals flying through the door. .Until that day though...

They will surely want to get game publishers signed up and announced before they need to raise again.

Need to ask someone that doesn’t like gaming - if anyone doesn’t know much about gaming could you please list the top 10 games you’ve heard of?

Admittedly, some may not even be on the market yet.

Ah well, too much speculation. Keeps me entertained whilst the share price destroys my morale.

From the Podcast I sense that Bidstack are talking to a number of publishers. That clearly makes sense given the number of significant advisors and key people involved at Bids.

All about closing deals now, and I would logically expect each publisher to maybe commit one or two games initially. I would also expect each title to be considered by the publisher as a second tier game to them but with good daily users and impressions. They get to monetise but de-risking the position for them.

By end June I would hope a minimum to two new publishers and who knows? Maybe three to four new games to deliver.

Just thinking out aloud.
