it is simply my take on it as JD has shown excitement at a takeover in a couple of his interviews..If you are referring to m and a activity mentioned in last podcast imo you are barking up the wrong tree. .If some one was trying to acquire bids you really think JD would make a throw away comment like he did. No I don't think so. . He has alluded to bids being taken over but that's when concept has been proved which arguably at present it has not

The way I have observed it: 3 years in 1 first referenced with a flashy video uploaded by JD himself over a week before interims. Then with less than a week left before interims, JD states that deal fell through (or as he put it "it no longer made sense for that deal to continue"). Then JD admits that they had to rush the DAN partnership to get the news out before interims. Telling us that before the M&A deal fell through the low interim numbers would likely not have mattered.

JD:

"There are also certain ways in which certain, certain things that are you could argue over, in terms of who would be interested in this type of company, why would they be interested in this type of company What is it, in this company that that would excite certain people to potentially, I don't know, just talking speculatively, and in no way [He decides not to finish this sentence]. This is pure so just just means i'm saying is that just the landscape of what success could look like down the track. It's, it's taking our technology, maybe taking some of that supply or whatever else we might have under contract and plugging into their ecosystem they can make more of it, and we can do on our own."

I think it is fairly clear what he is trying to say.

Your point may be valid in being applicable to the work done last year Girdz, it is simply my take on it as JD has shown excitement at a takeover in a couple of his interviews.

But where is "3 Years In 1" referenced prior to 20/09/19? Lewis joined in May.

Lol some, drunk old fart just talking to himself all day on here it's actually interesting how somebody could spend their day doing something so insignificant.. Life is amazing get out there and do something! I'd love to do a case study on you.. I'd call it life, its fleeting and you're wasting it.

I think you are wrong there wskr. .If you all can recall Lewis Sherlock turned up at his interview with BIDs with a 40 page document outlining his plan for bids in a very short time frame. Let's say 90 days as I cant remember exactly. After he was employed the #3yearsinone kept getting used. .It then looked like systems shut off and reconfigured noting a change in strategy in the way in which ads would be sold. Pubguard acquired, adconsole went live so evident safety and tracking at the forefront. While this was happening deals with TTD, epic, Xmansr, unity, dentsu, 1 unknown and 1 failed all drawn up. Lots has gone on to turn bids to a revenue generating machine. When games announced this will all fit into place. Then when revenue coming through the door will bids be up for sale whether they like it or not

"At the Mediatel event today!
In the pictures below you can see that there was a discussion about why are brands engaging with gaming. One of the reasons is that the worth of the #GamingIndustry is 150 billion USD, which works well for marketeers willing to create experiences for consumers, not only trying to sell the product.
Passing onto the next picture - Ellie Edwards-Scott was kicking off the panel in #InfluencerMarketing! What is important to notice for each brand is that Influencer marketing campaigns are really about your customer, not your brand. Here, #CreativityIsTheKey Bidstack Group PLC"

Mike, my whole take on JD going on about 3 years in 1 was a possible reference to an early exit. The aim of many startups is to get the company to a takeover position as quickly as possible and cash in their chips. To have achieved that in one year would have been impressive and IMO this is what JD was alluding to.

I agree with others here that it would have been surprising for JD to have referenced this so casually as the M&A activity he mentioned on the podcast but who knows. He mentioned this no longer made sense due to sliding share price. Not something that should influence a full takeover so perhaps a merger.

Either way, it didn't happen at the time but I would say an acquisition is still fully on the cards. I have two concerns with regards to this though. The fact that they switched to Goodman Derrick LLP who specialises on M&A activity between £5M and £50M. And the fact that a buyout at say even 5p per share (to use a lowball figure) still gives JD £1.98M for his shares. Not sure Fran would be too happy though let alone Pubguard and the rest of us.

This best not end like Game of Thrones Mike.

So many cryptic hints, theories and storyline build up... for me to end up as a financial cripple on the AIM of Thrones.
