I do and the Nintendo link with Grid and BIDS would be confirmation for me.BIDS are 'HOT' property regardless of present value

That would be a good example of integrity Stoats.

Remove the spotlight from revenue and onto 2020.

If come YE 2020 we are still in a ‘testing phase’ then yes we’ve made a poor investment decision but revenues this year were not mine, and I assume many of our, original thesis so JD doesn’t need to major on it.

JD’s integrity is a large part of my investment thesis along with the quality of the company‘s management and advisors. Maintain that at all cost... revenues will come this year or next year as we’ve seen with Luke’s list!

I’m hoping this year obviously so that we don’t have this narrative throughout 2020!

But it probably wouldn't be fine with whoever is taking over BIDS

I am inclined to agree with you money, however, if we had a warning based on "we have now tested and perfected our offering, have signed contracts with xy&Z and revenue is now coming in and growing rapidly" then that would be fine by me!

Agreed Money.

If we do have a big miss, there will be a big impact on my opinion of JD... post from Girdz gives me some level of reassurance, but it's all based on hope & trust at the moment - not the best investment case!

Hitec1, Re your 18044 interested to hear your 'thinking'. Implications for validity of any reported ads and also security of the coding. Certainly time for a robust update to be issued by Bidstack.

Sorry if this sounds a bit preachy, but it may be of benefit to some people:

Assuming log & co are correct, and revenues are non-existent... it can help to be psychologically prepared for such a scenario.

Trading / investing based on emotions, particularly negative emotions, is one of the key things to avoid. Psychology is possibly the most important aspect to get right if you want to make money in the markets.

If you expect the worst, then you can plan your response to it, so you're not taken by surprise and make rash decisions as a result.

Worst case scenario for me is a statement confirming low or zero revenues and share price tanking a further 50% as a result, putting us somewhere around 6-7p from current price.

In fact, psychologically, I'm now expecting that scenario.

Personally, I'm already sitting on a sizeable paper loss, so my response will be to hold. I won't panic sell, and I won't add more as I have already broken my rule of investing max 10% of my PF in any one share. I still see great potential in the business, or possibility of a takeover in the medium term.

I understand that this means I may lose my entire stake, but I still see enough positive indicators to suggest the company can deliver good revenues, albeit over a longer timescale than previously expected.

As mentioned in a previous post, I've changed my investing strategy over the last few months; its now based on identifying breakouts and utilizing stop losses, so hopefully this kind of huge paper loss isn't something I'll have to contend with again.

Lets hope for news of some sort, soon.

James Draper 21 Dec 2018QuoteUnlike Ltd company life, as a PLC there are research notes / trading updates shared with the open market. If you are aware you'll miss market expectations by 10% or more, a profit warning must be circulated to the market - and, in our case, having a £300k+ revenue target for 2018, from an almost pre-revenue starting point on placing, sharpens your focus and decision making.UNQUOTE

Hazl you are right, my whole pf is speculative and they have been, and continue to be hammered. Lots of red today. Generally I don't see any improvement until the New Year. Re Bids only very good news now will see us back in the 20's short term.

Totally agree Hazl. One simple RNS would stop the rot and see people piling back in IMO. Until that day though we languish just above single digit figures. .In order to deliver a happy festive season for shareholders news must come this week. .I am not holding my breath and just preparing for a challenging few months

I still believe it is the macro environment that is the cause and will continue to affect.
The advice given in this interview might not seem relevant but I believe,it is and that is what has been happening for some time, here as people escape smaller unprofitable companies.
As the bull market shudders people are going away from small speculative caps to firms of quality.
It doesn't mean BIDS isn't quality it just means it isn't proven yet.

Why am I still here you may ask?

Because further down the line I hope it will prove itself and is a fantastic novel idea.
Clearly though the market seems against us for now.
Good luck people whatever you decide to do.
