16/12/2019 15:46 | I guess that’s the benefit of being able to offer adds globally it’s always going to be busy somewhere. | graphite bot
16/12/2019 15:45 | Also a significant increase in BIDS self promotion ads. | eckoh
16/12/2019 15:37 | I did notice a significantly higher volume of ads on twitch TV at the weekend. Similarly as the amount of players increases at this time of day there are more ads. Very few in the mornings. No science or stats behind that of course just my random browsings and general view. | eckoh
16/12/2019 15:21 | GN ads are charged by cpm, so 1,000 impressions/views may bring in £5. £5 per cpm has been suggested. The more players playing the more impressions so the more revenue generated. So Christmas and New Year should be a busy time for Bids. | numptydumpty
16/12/2019 15:14 | Correct we will wait and see. And I wonder how many people are paid by the company or work for them on this board. | nateroyd
16/12/2019 15:10 | They don't have to do anything. .Just feel they should as this is what they've alluded to doing | girdz
16/12/2019 15:09 | 8 trading days left. So they have to come out with an announcement by then. Don't they ? | nateroyd
16/12/2019 15:08 | well if there are more peopel playing does that make the ads more expensive during holidays or is it a flat rate?? | global nomad
16/12/2019 15:03 | Well 15 days for revenue coming in until year end, people don`t stop playing games just because the market is closed, and will probably increase over the winter break when people have more spare time to play. | botmzup
16/12/2019 15:01 | Also can be forward sold for the life of game contract in reality with money on account | lukehold
16/12/2019 15:01 | GN, That's an important point which maybe gets overlooked. Bids revenue model is 24/7, 365. | chessmaster10
16/12/2019 14:54 | Bidstack Year End is 31st December, revenue for ads will be generated everyday, rather than only during working days. Last years end of year trading update was 11th Jan. | global nomad
16/12/2019 14:43 | 8 days left for revenue | nateroyd
16/12/2019 14:36 | "The in-game Football Manager ads ensured a very high average exposure time of 40 seconds per session. This meant that Subway’s creatives were highly visible and were served to a highly engaged audience, therefore creating a totally different brand experience compared with traditional display advertising. There, 50% of the banner being visible for 1 second is the standard viability measure, far less than was achieved in this campaign. Cadreon Turkey and its client are excited about this new creative way of advertising and plan to develop and expand its usage in the future. “One of Cadreon’s main aims in Turkey is to test every new type of ad inventory that’s available to buy programmatically, offering exciting new openings for our clients. Younger audiences here have a real passion for football and gaming in particular, and to be able to connect to that at the right time, in the right environment creates tremendous opportunities for brand positioning.” Taylan Koru - Head of Digital at Univeral McCann Turkey " | global nomad

16/12/2019 14:21 | ttps://twitter.com/b We really enjoyed this @TheMarketingSoc article by Sean Singleton of Unofficial Partner. It takes a look at why brands should be embracing esports and gaming as a new ad channel and offers some helpful tips on how advertisers can get started! 🎮 #Bidstack | hazl
16/12/2019 14:17 | plus the other supply side partners mentioned | remarkomsoc
16/12/2019 14:15 | Pascha, if you scroll back over the last day or two you will see a list of ads spotted in FM and Grid. if you read the commentary here around that, it is clear that depending on your point of view, the surprise could go either way. JD's statement would imply that we will hit the only publically stated revenue target for the year of 5.9m. The flow of ads could be seen as supporting that premise. We have however had no confirmation or trading update to confirm this expectation. Last years update was at beginning of Jan. | global nomad
16/12/2019 14:09 | ta - ok so hold on to your hats then guys, we will see if James is good for his word. Not sure how the revenue will suddenly materialise. have you seen adds on any games other than the football manager. surely that's the easiest way to see if we can expect a surprise. | pascha2020
