and the sellers keep coming - Steady stream of selling orders into the RSP.
and one larger seller resting with a market maker limited higher (likely at the 33p level)
This baby is going nowhere until the persistent sell orders dry up.

Current RSP price is 31.10 - 31.80p

Key differential is potential VR + AR opportunities vs current games.

Not a lot of people using VR games yet so possibly jumped the gun?

Presume it would be easy to switch tact though so good spot. Every man and his dog will be watching BIDS with envy. Name of the cash shell please Scotty?

Precisely Melody.
Having a supply side like Unreal makes it easy for the demand side to want to get involved. It's a knock on effect, chicken and egg scenario. Once more of the dsp's are on board it makes it easier for remaining developers to want to get on board. So on and so forth.

Scott 7530 - Unreal Engine is supply side (developers) not demand side???

Scotty666 - I see Admix already have a plugin for Unreal (as well as Unity). Plus 10 DSPs. So ahead of BIDS.

Anyone know much about Admix and comparison to BIDS? Asking as a cash shell I own is likely to take a chunk in this amongst other investments.

Programmatic monetization platform for 3D Spacial platforms such as AR & VR:
Admix is directly comparable with BidStack, an AIM listed company with a valuation of £85million.
Admix is first fully programmatic monetisation platform for 3D Spacial developers e.g. 3D games and AR/VR applications/content, enabling non-intrusive, programmatic adverts/product placements.
Admix matches supply and demand in real-time: developers define spaces in their content they want to sell via Admix; advertisers then place the adverts via Admix’s DSP roster. Admix has integrated to 10 global DSPs, whereas BidStack has just signed up its first 2.

Cheers

Melody, what would the competition offer?
With the Unreal Engine collaboration potential BIDS should be easily able to agree to tie in with the other major dsp's as well.
When that happens its is pretty much a game set and match for BIDS. Why use a competitor that may at best only have one or two of the same dsp's?
BIDS all the way now.

Hooking up to Unreal Engine looks a smart play on the developer side. would be nice if there was something similar on the DSP side.

I see an anology with electric vehicles. At the outset, who would manufacture and who would buy an electric vehicle because there are no charging points? but who is going to provide charging points when there are so few electric vehicles?

the answer is - it is happening and the the potential prize is large for the trailblazers

so why would developers bother to incorporate the BIDS Unreal Engine plugin when BIDS only have a limited number of DSPs connected - and why would advertisers integrate a DSP like AppNexus (allowing them to feature the client brand on the developer game) when BIDS have so few games available?

the answer is - BIDS are making all the right moves and the prize is massive.

what I think we need now is an RNS advising pilot advertisers, ad agencies, and game developers who have agreed to work with BIDS to prove the concept that programmatic advertising can be automatically and easily achieved...

the other interesting thought is how much of a moat is created by the BIDS IP. Or are they just giving a leg up to their competitors? For example could Epic Games go out to BIDS copmpetitors and easily co-develop a plug in with them too, given the knowledge they will gain through the BIDS collaboration?

IMO the daily movement at the moment is going to mean diddly-squat in 12 months time. I am heavily invested for the long term,it takes time for an empire to be built, the crucial part of which is ensuring the foundations are rock solid rather than building a house of cards. I believe that the rocket will fire up Q4 for a scheduled take off in 2020 at which time unicorns will be seen in the stars. Faith and patience is key here and good luck to everyone!

It will indeed. Bidstack have not assembled this calibre of board members with all their contacts and networking for an evening of beer and skittles.

Two reasons for selling .Some are in from single digit days and maybe are de-risking but hold enough to see it through.
Secondly people buying on RNS news expecting 100% return ,not seeing that are selling to jump into something else.
One word comes to mind Patience.

It feels as if the continued selling is part of investors locking in profits not due to issues with the business but rather the wider nervousness about markets in general, global / euro / local.

For me at the moment, Bidstack looks like a safe(ish) hedge against all the turmoil and it should still outperform the other choices. My position only and everyone should take their own view.

It may take another piece of news to get us up to 40p..
