Delighted and proud of the Bidstack Group PLC team - commercial and product groups have worked so hard to make this a reality. 19/8/2019 15:33 | I suspect some investors may be waiting for the H1 update. Providing there are no big red flags, we may then see some upwards momentum kicking in again, the recent updates certainly merit it. Really impressed by the update today. There's been a lot of talk about getting EA sports on-board due to the obvious application in FIFA etc... but in terms of active players, Fortnite blows FIFA out of the water, if this list is anywhere near correct: Interestingly, considering the link between Epic games and Tencent, the game with the most users (dwarfing even Fortnite) is 'Crossfire', with 660 million registered accounts. Crossfire is a free-to-play title developed by Smilegate, and released in China by... Tencent. Follow-ups to the original Crossfire are in development at the moment, including an Xbox version. So, in summary, if we get news of a bidstack tie-up with a company called smilegate anytime soon, that is potentially huge as well. Hopefully they'll be meeting over there at Gamescon, you never know. | ![]() chessmaster10

19/8/2019 15:05 | Really good post by captain hindsight on LSE for all the people that don't understand what Unreal Engine means: "YEP, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY STONKING! :D If you're not a gamer or hot on what this means and you're already invested I'd say well done to you Sir/Madam! Hold on and sit tight. I'm an investor and a gamer and I can categorically say this is a MEGA win for us! To quickly break it down so you can understand. Epic are the creators of the Unreal Engine which is basically a pre-built game template/development kit that enables you to build practically any kind of game without coding a game from scratch. Some of the absolute biggest AAA games over the last few decades have been built using the Unreal Engine. A simple analogy would be a real off the self car engine. Let's say VW (Epic) make a 1.6L engine and make it available for any other manufacturer to buy and use. The engine is designed to be easily adapted by whoever wants to use it and saves the other car makers the hassle/expense of designing an engine from scratch. Now imagine some of the best cars from all over are constantly being made using this engine as a base over decades (it's that good). What VW (Epic) have done in this analogy is make it possible to upgrade the base engine with brand new money making technology (Bidstack). The fact that they have cleared this on the base engine (Epic Unreal Engine) it means it's all ready and set to go for any other manufacturer that wants to use it (which is A LOT). On top of this the new tech (Bidstack) can be retro-fitted to previous engines already in the market for years/decades! Apologies if this is obvious but a doubt Unreal Engine is a household name unless your involved with gaming. Even if you don't quite get it just know this is BIG. I have this in my S&S ISA and SIPP and plan to hold for many years now as I think this is a monster in the making. Good Luck LTH's. What a start to the week! :D" | ![]() moneygenxyz

19/8/2019 14:31 | James Draper, Bidstack's CEO commented: "Our collaboration with Epic Games and their Unreal Engine team provides Bidstack with a frictionless opportunity to scale. Previously it was necessary for us to form relationships with games developers on a one-by-one basis. We will continue to do this, but growth from this strategy alone takes time. Our new arrangement with Epic's Unreal Engine enables developers of all sizes, by adding Bidstack's technology to their game, to open their ad inventory to global media buyers and potentially attract advertising revenue from the world's leading brands. This collaboration with Epic also gives advertisers an expanded access point to the gaming community, making it even more attractive to advertisers seeking to reach gamers, at a time when revenues from video games are larger than music and video combined."
