Any eligible IAB member can become 'Registered'.

That's very different from being 'Certified'. Bidstack have just been certified which puts them in an exclusive group.

Only the companies meeting the most stringent criteria are awarded the accolade. It is a long and arduous process involving the most rigorous standard of adjudication and awarded only to the elite in the industry. The IAB themselves state "Not only does Gold Standard certification improve digital advertising for the whole ecosystem but it also pays to be certified."

"You can register your company in less than two minutes, then we’ll contact you to confirm eligibility and take some further details." However, it is only after the $10k processing fee has cleared the IAB bank account will the company be able to issue such a claim as to be registered - and not before.

Even after the payment has been cleared the company must still wait until Friday as the process is arduous and not instantaneous: "Registrations are confirmed each Friday, and you'll be issued with the IAB UK Gold Standard 'Registered' badge for use on your website and marketing materials."

This shows how much work and evidence has been provided for Bidstack to achieve such an honour.

Any IAB member can register for gold membership.


This starts the process, with only companies that meet the criteria receiving certification.


Very few companies are certified, and now Bidstack is one of them.

Niggles agenda is not about IAB or BIDS.The task in hand is to attack and discredit JD at all times.The establishment want JD replaced and this is how they operate. I dont think it's anything personal against JD unless its related to something Israeli

NiggleHave you ever actually dealt with the IAB?I have & they are a seriously professional outfit & don't just hand out certifications like this because you have become a member. Your comment shows you don't have a clue about what you are talking about!

This is excellent news and vindicates the Bidstack technology as the gold standard in the industry. Advertisers will get comfort in launching campaigns knowing that they do so with such a recipient. The category is closely contested and is only ever given to candidates who pay a £10k subscription and can be shown to have a proven turnover of at least £140k and above, with a promise of more to come. It is a also given to companies who can demonstrably prove to have a BOD who can prove to be a bastion of candour and beyond reproach. I expect a healthy rise in the share price on the back of such a coveted accolade. Well done to all those at Bidstack to have made this possible.
