They know they only have to utter the word 'placing' and new people run a mile.

Also look at the above post.....'loss making'!

Every new company has to start somewhere.... many are so pleased when they get their first loan!

When they aren't loss -making they are not pence for long!
Anyway I won't fall into the trap of writing here.

Genuine investors don't pay enough attention to the resolutions at AGMS. Once you agree preemptive rights for the directors to issue shares you effectively sign your own death warrant. If the company is loss making like Bidstack you are also your own executioner.

It could have been handled so much easier but no the old establishment had to do it as the old establishment has always done it.Call the CEO a lying fraud.It just makes it 1000% worse for the zombies when the truth comes out

That's exactly what I'm saying. Furthermore like yourselves I once held the mistaken view that placings occurred over a short period of time. One week, no more than four. So I would say things like - "now that the placing is out the way we can move ahead'. But I was wrong and had to learn the hard way. I learned most of it from PCGE. Placings are never out of the way. They are a 365 24/7 rolling process. Depending on the level of trading activity some placing periods are more active than others. This is why you will often find a positive update where the shares have risen sharply is quickly followed by a placing. The AGM resolutions give the directors the authority to place shares whenever they like without having to consult the shareholders.

So where I cannot say when BIDS is going to announce the next placing I am confident they are placing shares into the market at these low levels. The problem for me is that a broken clock is right at least twice a day. Others have already pointed out on my 365 24/7 theory at some point I will be able to say 'I told you so'. But I can't concern myself with that. My concern is to make people aware that their shares in Bids will continue to slide over the medium to long term until or if the company starts generating profit on a self-sustainable level.

I totally agree, placings are arranged in a hurry, not over the period PW claims.

They are forward sold to clients in traditional brokers with participants covering them in the placing, effectively a naked short guaranteeing them a profit at the expense of the long term investor who suffers dilution.

Fair comments, but it's funny that people cannot just filter everyone whose posts they find to be repetitive or negative isn't it?


Some people simply have to engage with every perceived negative comment, even if they are being as repetitive themselves in their replies! Yet nobody complains about people that are positive being repetitive themselves, do they? In fact, bulls can post total rubbish but as long as it's positive rubbish, nobody normally complains.


I'm talking in general terms here, about ADVFN threads in general, not this thread specifically, although the same applies here, IMO.


If you look at the LSE, where they have a system of 5 people objecting to a post causing its removal, it's a total madhouse of largely unsophisticated investors ramping stocks to others with as little understanding. What value has that? I would say it's very risky in fact as people are being led into duff stocks and losing their money as a result of negative opinion being censored.


So, you have migrated the bulls here to a private echo chamber, leaving the bears here where their influence will grow as there won't be anyone to challenge their comments.


I wish you good luck with your new site, but predict some will come back to post here because a bulls only club will lack thought provoking dialogue and discussion.

Andy, the issue is not the bears or those with a structured reasons to be cautious, the problem is with stuck records with no evidence and nonsense with no purpose other than to disrupt.

None of us have denied it - in fact mathematically very likely.

Problem is, most have them on filter then a select few posters decide to maintain the disruption by replying. Easier to just remove the disruption.

You don't have to, just filter them and you can't read their posts any more, it really is that simple, really!


Yet nobody can bring themselves to do it, and continue to enage in dialogue with people they are constantly complaining about!


So by 80 people leaving ADVFN for an echo chamber, the bears will be in full control!
