24/10/2007 17:46 | Buy some stock then lol Seems the MM's are under pressure got to give some time. Gets me the lack of selling over the last few months. Working on something be back later. | love it
24/10/2007 16:38 | whats up with the website?...i like it..nice and simple | nakedshorter
24/10/2007 11:56 | Agree fully with you TD.Presently Buy 50K @ 4.47 Sell 100K @ 4.22 Pretty strong limits and hinting at a move higher from here. | run rabbit
24/10/2007 11:06 | So your logic is that because you do not like the website it will fall further. That is a very poor excuse at a deramp. | tornadodown
24/10/2007 00:12 | LI personally I think that if we see this start to move then your +3p prediction may be conservative. You are looking at a company which is EBITDA posiitve and has a substantial turnover around what £100M.It has been hit due to the sector and US exposure but that will change shortly and anyone who buys at this level will be rewarded. | tornadodown
23/10/2007 19:00 | Yes got my note from the broker as well. AGM 2/11/07 and watching the stock the last few days WINS yesterday dropped on no trade due to the market. Not seen a sell for a while except the 50K today. The online sell price is going up all the time. The MM's seem to want stock as they must be short to balance the books. They try to keep the spread wide to stop buyers. If the bid went to 4.25 on the screen then buyers would force the price up. AGM MAY have some more news. With luck a nice steady rise into it. You can sell 300K on line at near on 4.24p buy 50k. Buyers at the 4.5p offer in my opinion will be laughing all the way to the bank as it were. Looking for 3p short term fingers crossed been buying for a while. | love it
23/10/2007 13:19 | Name change will only effect the shares and not the business. Does not appear that this is a rebranding exercise but helps them get rid of the ".com" name which has a bad image with investors. A good move imo. | britishbear
23/10/2007 13:03 | No suprises that the first decent buy pushes it back up. | run rabbit
23/10/2007 00:23 | Recieved a letter from my broker stating Bet are to change their name ( subject to shareholder approval at the agm) to webbis holdings ltd; not sure about the spelling can 't find my letter... | quickpix
22/10/2007 23:29 | 1. but why are they changing names? 2. why do they still not offer a decent affiliate programme? They still insist on paying peanuts to affiliates and for this reason an affiliate like myself is not prone to promote them. Don't they understand that affiliates are their best ROI??? | guidfarr
22/10/2007 23:17 | Just been doing a little research.Firstly I think people should take a look at the recent results here Secondly a news item Basically the above backs up the turn of BEt into what shortly could become a profitable £100M company. When you look at the potential, and this includes the US market,is it worth gambling on BET? | tornadodown
22/10/2007 23:08 | Sorry Quick but you have one over me there.Care to divulge more please? | run rabbit
22/10/2007 23:05 | so what do you think of the proposed name change ? | quickpix
22/10/2007 22:49 | Good post love it.I suppose that if you were a market maker you would want to get as many shares onboard at this price as what you can if you believe the valuation of the company is not reflected in it's current share price so why not drop that bid on no trades. Obvious really!! | run rabbit
21/10/2007 23:48 | IMHO Bet looks to have the best potential in the sector of small cap internet gambling stocks, in their last accounts they were running close to break even as gross profits roughly matched their administration costs. "however the real potential is the pari-mutuel operation which is showing some amazing turnover growth figures, if this trend continues and gross profits remain the same then there should be a big increase in pre-tax profits, combine this with the relaxation of UK gambling advertising laws which now means all gaming operators can now tout for new business on TV, this should also help to bring in new business and increase turnover and profits. Bet looks the cheapest play in their sector because they are already operating at the break even level. They are probably profitable now as their pari-mutuel business has the high margins and has the strongest growth Also there is currently a shortage of stock, i could sell my entire holding of 500k at a premium of 4.2p if i wanted but i am looking for over double the current price short term. | love it
19/10/2007 12:39 | Plenty of potential here thats for sure and not that many have bought at this level. | tornadodown
19/10/2007 12:21 | Tickup last Friday, and another one today. As stated above, it definitely looks as though they're trying to keep a lid on things... | shammytime
18/10/2007 13:15 | you would nearly think they were trying to stifle it keeping it cheap | roosterhead56
18/10/2007 12:18 | I noticed that also rooster. I don't understand how this has remained the same level all week. On the back of decent SBT and MDC announcements, I expected this to move slightly Nothing yet (for now..) | shammytime
18/10/2007 09:54 | tight limits cant buy over 10000 | roosterhead56
17/10/2007 20:30 | Going to have to try again tomorrow before it moves up.The last trade at full offer makes me think that may be sooner rather than later. | tornadodown
17/10/2007 15:42 | I don't think you will get them TD as it seems only lower quantities are available with two of my online brokers.I would expect this to move higher very shortly. | run rabbit
17/10/2007 14:08 | I have a limit in for 50K from 08:00 this morning at 4.5 but it still has not been filled.Looks as though the market is keeping this under control. | tornadodown |
