If KAPE is anything to go by, I don't think GIL will increase their offer much - initial offer was at $3.44, final offer at $3.60.

Will post thoughts later once I’ve read in full but he doesn’t have the 75% to delist so I think this is a shakedown and he will, like KAPE up his offer a little.

What I’m not sure about is the implications of the takeover. He can put through the takeover with 50% but he can’t delist without 75%. So if you don’t accept the offer you’re holding out for a higher offer and he can’t delist. He can clear out the board but looks like he’s already doing that. He clearly wants to do a KAPE here so he will pay up a bit more. This is chump change for him compared to what he spent on KAPE, I will digest but think I will hold out for a slightly higher offer closer to £6. Very disappointed it is ending this soon as had hoped they’d last a year or two more before this but I did flag this as a risk when he bought in. I just didn’t think this would come so quick

Seems a bit strange, no trading update in May and final results not out yet - 16.6 out in the last two years. Maybe it means nothing and results will come out next week, or is there some news/unexpected announcement brewing. It has me wondering....

Article in March (google omaze profit) suggested it still wasn’t making a profit. But yes I have been spammed with ads this weekend it feels like. Sundays in particular they target it seems.

Re BOTB offering a house - I wouldn’t want them too. Too much capital and risk. Omaze has to splash out £4m of capital each time for buying that house before they get the revenue (unless they have some weird deal allowing them to market the house on tv without having paid for it but seems unlikely?). Bad model. BOTB takes money first then buys prizes.

Keep seeing Omaze million pound house draw adverts all over Twitter and TV etc. That company must be worth a fortune. I wonder if BOTB will ever move up to offering a house as a prize?

Hmm…now I am confused! Only thing I can think of is something to do w Sagi. It is clearly taking longer than they forecast given they had first said end of the year (was open to interpretation as to whether that was CY or FY) but even that they have now missed. This reminds me of the FSP…they don’t rush things would be my polite way of putting it! Fair enough…they have a business to keep running.

I wondered that too re no update. Maybe there's a Sagi update that's not quite ready, or maybe they've got nothing to update really and are just waiting until next month when the annual results are due. Let's hope it's one of those.... or maybe we'll get an update this week....
