So no one won the big cash…he won a £124k prize plus £20k cash. So an expensive week for prizes compared to recent cheap weeks but the question we don’t get to find out is did the hopefully higher average spends + new customers compensate for it. I note £50k cash is back this week with every car. They used to do this for a while at the height of the boom days.

Hmm the Sagi Kape stuff. I’m not surprised but frustratingly this has just harmed the bull case here - slightly different circumstances but I still see Sagi doing the same sort of thing to take the company private, with the Directors and Stancroft Trust. The nail in the coffin there is he has 54% so can do what he wants - here he only has 30% so needs William Rupert and others to agree. So the question is do you trust William and Rupert to stand up for you? I also note here there’s a chunk of IIs who took part in the £24 placing - they’re not going to agree to any low ball offer, I hope, if they see we’re in a growth phase and the operational gearing is kicking in. It’s a frustration and a big red flag for me but the earnings growth / continued revaluation bull case for me still outweighs. Holding patiently, but expecting some form of offer to take this private - there’s really no need anymore for BOTB to be a public company - they don’t need access to capital and they don’t need the legitimacy recognition which was the original reason for being listed in the first place. To me being listed is just unnecessary costs and admin now for them.
