25/1/2008 08:57 | It's not as good as hard info but that all sounds robust, even if the name change might take some getting used to! | sper
31/12/2007 17:29 | Anyone have any new feelings about BGP? I realise that there's no hard info to go on, but was thinking that maybe the recent 20p might mark the low for this outfit. I see there has been a very small uptick from 20p and was thinking of having a small dabble.... | fillipe
24/12/2007 09:36 | Yet another Hoodless & B wonder share tip... When will I ever learn... | sharedobby
19/12/2007 08:38 | I would not be so sure, most recruitment stocks are taking a pounding at the moment, even those who are a greater known quantity. BGP are almost an entirely unknown, much more of a punt I will warrant you | sper
18/12/2007 19:59 | Yep... thinking that myself !! Strange things afoot !! | sharedobby
18/12/2007 17:01 | This is becoming worryingly low, on very little volume. Must be something wrong here? | fillipe
15/11/2007 08:19 | Reassuring update this morning - could have told us more but what they have told sounds positive | sper
14/11/2007 13:59 | looks like something is in the offing! Huge volume today and a big bounce as a consequence. | sper
13/11/2007 20:40 | thanks. lets hope for some news soon then. | rob7heo
13/11/2007 08:07 | I think this is a general recruitment thing, many of the shares in the sector are on the drop. I'm pretty sure Quantica would have been in the same position IMHO. That said the lack of news from the group isnt helping. I'm not sure many people have a good handle on the GP and PBT of the combined group and there are some big questions over costs of the acquisition, integration savings and how the underlying BSG business is performing as that was previously loss making. | sper
12/11/2007 16:43 | I took the offer off bgp shares for my quantica shares a few weeks ago. since then they have lost me about 30% can anyone tell me what is going on. Quantica never made me a fortune but neither did they lose me so much so quick! | rob7heo
27/7/2007 14:55 | That move up might be a partial answer to a question I cant answer! | sper
26/7/2007 15:16 | Sper (and anyone else!), do you think this will affect the share price positively when takeover happens or will it drop first? Crystal balls out please... | nessie
23/7/2007 11:23 | interesting - just read the RNS, bit slow off the mark today. Be interesting to see how this unfolds | sper
23/7/2007 11:22 | Nice idea if you hold BGP! Have not heard that one before | sper
23/7/2007 11:20 | What's the verdict on the (possible) reverse takeover of Quantica?? | nessie
13/7/2007 09:29 | From recruiter magazine EXCLUSIVE Berkeley Scott, the hospitality and leisure recruiter, is undergoing a significant restructuring under the leadership of new chief executive John Rose who took up the reins nine weeks ago. There's already been a shake-up on the senior management team, a review of branch locations and a decision taken to move the corporate headquarters to London from Godalming, Surrey. Speaking to Recruiter, Rose said he was having "the time of my life" in his new role, which lured him away from recruitment giant Hudson. "I want a challenge," he said. "The potential of this business needs some unlocking, but all the ingredients are here - there's real talent, and experienced people here." He expressed confidence in the company's solid, well-respected brand, and noted that Berkeley Scott enjoys the loyalty of a number of exclusive candidates who have been placed by the firm over time. Under Rose's leadership, the company's executive search arm, Isis, will expand its previous brief and recruit for roles paid £60,000 and up. The Berkeley Scott brand will extend its reach to positions that pay up to £60,000. Previously, Isis focused on jobs paying £80,000 and above, while the larger Berkeley Scott brand recruited for positions that paid up to £50,000. "There was a gap," Rose pointed out. Putting the firm's geographic locations under the microscope led to a decision to "merge" the Cardiff and Bristol offices. When the lease expired on the company's Cardiff office, the two operations were consolidated in Bristol. Acquisitions are also on the agenda for the revitalised Berkeley Scott, Rose confirmed. "We want organisations with good brands, that have the ability to scale up," he said. | sper
22/2/2007 18:23 | Parvez, You're spot on there! | magonia
22/2/2007 08:13 | Magonia, why should it not be seen as a stable rise? Just because RSI is high? There has been coorporate activity here and so expect this to happen.... | parvez
21/2/2007 16:01 | RSI pretty high already. Is this a stable rise? | magonia
20/2/2007 18:22 | Has taken its time but these should now start motoring. Corporate activity expected - I wonder? | parvez
02/2/2007 13:39 | Looks like you were right, todays announcement shows the share capital. Interested in the 3rd Director, Michael Jackson. Very colourful track record on the RNS. Is this a case of croneyism? | sper
23/1/2007 16:54 | I thought the 17p shares already issued and any way they will be going to directors unless am missing something - the directors are in for the lonfg run. IMHO i do not think you will get them below this level however time will tell. | parvez
18/1/2007 10:41 | With shares to be issued at 17p what is the view that this will drop further. I think the opportunities this presents now are quite exciting but obviously keen not to dip my toe in before it hits bottom but I have a feeling when it starts to motor it will do it on an RNS of acquisitions and it will go quite quickly. | sper |
