But does this also mean that the directors and their options will be well looked after. The issue will have to be ratified at an EGM.
It will be interesting to see the price tomorrow..
Meanwhile buy some PRM in compensation.

"Yes" to put it bluntly, but the board did warn shareholders in their last announcement regarding a potential bid.

From the RNS

On the
basis of this indicative offer, the total consideration (which may or may not be
offered) would not exceed the current level of debt of the Company.

Does this mean the shareholders get nothing ?

2.5M blue buys looks as if someone is in the know.
I reckon the share price is going to rise prior to the dilution effect.
What I cannot decide is whether to buy or not. I have the cash but I am in deep already.
What do you seasoned posters who have been in the discussion for a good while think.
Are we BUYING or not or are we waiting until Q makes the move.
If this comes off then we make more more cash.
I could do a T10 as soon as the news breaks. Not much risk there.

Come on spill the beans.

Not another bloody extension. I wish it would just do or die.
Like many, I'm holding as it's not worth selling - and you ain lost 'till you've sold 'em.

Heavens knows who they leave this deal so late. Right up to the wire or perhaps we thought there was a deadline.

Cheer up!
Extract from today's Ft.com article:

'...Analysts said the new Quintiles deal, entitling it to the marketing rights for Bioglan's core dermatology products in the US - is estimated to be worth tens of millions of pounds.

RBS is expected today to extend Bioglan's debt facilities for a further month..'

Could be the reason?

LONDON (AFX) - Bioglan Pharma PLC is in late-stage rescue talks with
Quintiles Transnational, the US contract research group, according to the
Financial Times.
The newspaper did not name its source, but said the deal, which could give
Quintiles up to 30 pct of Bioglan through a share issue, would force Terry
Sadler, Bioglan's founder and chief executive, finally to accept a dilution of
his holding.
Sadler, whose one-third stake was worth 577 mln stg at the shares' high
point of 902-1/2 pence early last year, was worth less than 2 mln stg at
Wednesday's closing price of 5-3/4 pence.
Bioglan's tailspin began last October, when Sadler confirmed he had
abandoned the 765 mln usd acquisition of Bristol Myers Squibb's skincare
operations.
Choosing debt rather than equity as the basis for that deal had triggered
the company's problems, analysts said. Bioglan still owes 105 mln stg to a
consortium of banks led by Royal Bank of Scotland PLC.
