07/7/2023 17:12 | Dear Que, On your record of wrong calls to date imagine if you were wrong? Green nuclear energy couple of thousand jobs a bit of local prosperity in a barren part of Spain and the EU has a highly profitable source of uranium within its borders? Most unlikely because Que has pronounced as he did with his sell recommendation at 15p March 2022! Que with your record I have o say I think you have found a gold mine but not one you seem to want to own | pockstones
06/7/2023 09:13 | Spanish National elections take place on 23rd. July. What a mess. If somehow PSOE retains power under Pedro Sanchez, their views on nuclear are unlikely to change in my opinion. If a potential coalition of PP (Partido Popular) with far-right Vox comes into power, it seems to me questionable whether that would be the ideal recipe for reform of nuclear energy policy either. In terms of changes on important National policy-making on energy, it's hard to envisage any major decisions for a long time. Good Luck to Berkeley on their latest appeal - but against the current political upheavals I can't imagine much moving rapidly. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
04/7/2023 21:19 | Pokkie, Oh dear. What happened to your forecast last year at 38p in May 2022 that it was going up? Six months later, by January 2023 the share price had crashed 63% to a mere 14p. Care to comment? | quepassa
04/7/2023 20:02 | Dear Que, The price is up 5% on your sell recommendation at 38p and is up a 166% on your repeated sale at fifteen pence last March. It is true that based on your original wrong headed call investors are up 5% only, but 2022 was a tough year for those who trust you in your wrongheadedness to the degree that I do, then the second buy signal you produced last March was extremely rewarding as I am sure you will acknowledge. I have great affection for diligent fools who call attention to investment opportunities so say what you like on this board your commentary is profitable for those who know how to interpret your blathering. | pockstones
04/7/2023 12:52 | Well, Abascal, the leader of right-wing vox, is pro-nuclear, pointing out that even the EU is, now : hxxps://www.telecinc and the Spanish look up to Sweden, also gone right, who've included nuclear WITHIN their commitment to net zero. And then there's this: hxxps://www.aljazeer You don't get much coverage on these developments from the Beeb, for some reason. Funny, that (not). IMO | extrader
04/7/2023 12:39 | Pokkie, What happened to your call last year that at 38p it was going up? More than halved since then. Care to comment? | quepassa
04/7/2023 12:26 | Que is an absolute touchstone when it comes to this sort of stock and his presence here is welcome with the election three weeks away and the share price breaking forty there is no saying what level his fulminations will take the price of Berkeley to. | pockstones
04/7/2023 09:52 | some volatility.... ha ha ha what?? Crashing 60% after forecasting in May 2022 that it was going up from 38p??? May 2022 38p January 2023 14p ha ha ha | quepassa
04/7/2023 09:18 | Well looks like Pokkie was right last year? Some volatility on the way, but it's now above 38p! Congrats everyone, and thanks QP for encouraging us all the way. | swanvesta
04/7/2023 08:56 | A surprise visit from LLB.... However, not at all sure about that. Whilst personally a great fan of nuclear energy as the pre-eminent power source, the anti-nuclear movement in Spain unfortunately remains as strong, powerful and influential as ever. It's not about the business concept, it's about Spanish politics - and any party which wholeheartedly embraces and endorses nuclear energy in Spain still runs the risk of losing vast swathes of supporters and votes. ALL IMO. DYOR. Qp | quepassa
04/7/2023 08:39 | A strong share price rebound in H1-2023, have we made some permitting progress in the back ground here..? appeals ongoing.. Sooner or later the reality of net zero and how countries plan to get there will dawn on them.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
03/7/2023 20:50 | Pokkie, What happened to your call last year that at 38p it was going up? More than halved since then. Care to comment? | quepassa
03/7/2023 17:52 | Dear Que, I have never made such comments merely highlighted your inability to pick shares correctly your sells go up not down Berkeley has been a fantastic winner for those of us who follow your calls and I assure you at 38p following your sell last March at fifteen I am truly in your debt I hope that you have profited yourself | pockstones |
