12/5/2014 16:39 | Hope so because I am underwater at the moment. House prices on the rise so at the moment I am holding. Plus Berkley pay a good divi. | werty5

27/4/2014 17:24 | Tipped by Paul Kavanagh of Killick & Co yesterday at Master Investor London. He said the share could go into the FTSE 100 next year. He said house builders/constructio He said they aim to return £1.7bn to shareholders by 2018. Sees it as a 3/5 year play. Could go a bit lower but pull back has presented a good time to buy. | plasybryn

16/4/2014 17:54 | Davros, you probably agree property sector has been gaving a good time and future prospects are still rosey. Sector SP's have been hit recently by market, for no tangible reason to my mind as Ukraine, China, Dow jones and other world issues have no direct bearing on UK publilic buying UK properties. I am therefore curious why you sold in the short term, as the bounce cannot be predicted and law of averages means you lose 0.5% on stamp duty. | dr_smith
16/4/2014 12:03 | Yes suspect that it is - sector take a real hammering in recent weeks and thankfully sold all my housing shares much higher than they are now. Berkeley top of my buy back list but am in no hurry until markets have stabilised a bit | davr0s
16/4/2014 10:42 | indeed. PSN have accelerated their capital return. Could be a surprise on the upside at results time. | r ball
16/4/2014 08:25 | Dav - fear of interest rate rises? Also typically a weak sector at this time of year. I might have sold my BKG but the story is unchanged. Dividend of £2.70 to be payable by Sep 15 (see IMS 18/3). At 2350p this must be something like a 9% divi for the next 17 months. On the one hand....I'll take the divi thanks. On the other hand it gives me confidence to hold the stock through some price weakness. | melody9999
08/4/2014 10:33 | Held these in the past and kept them on my watch list so getting into being good value again - the whole housing sector seems to have been badly hit in recent days. Appreciate the market is off but housing seems to have been more badly hit so in no rush to buy. Anyone heard anything as to why housing getting some much selling attention ? | davr0s

11/3/2014 10:59 | Sure I don't have any problem with holding just kicking myself for the position I share was at when I brought it, was over keen on getting a quality building firm and with rush of blood brought in at wrong time, should have waited for share to come back near to trend line (about where it is now) | werty5
11/3/2014 10:51 | It'll bounce. | billy_liar
11/3/2014 09:15 | Looks like I have dropped the ball and timed the purchase of this share badly. | werty5
28/2/2014 12:39 | Slow and steady increases is what we like as it discourages the day traders. Sound investment here. | billy_liar |
