Beowulf Mining are presenting at the Global Mining Finance conference live at Moorgate, London, next Wednesday morning, the 3rd of November.

Shareholders and all those interested in the company are welcome to attend.

This is a morning event, with a buffet, wine, and refreshements to follow.

These are interesting events, and give the opportunity to chat to the CEO's, swap tips with fellow investors, and city professionals, in an informal setting.

The two governing parties are not opposed to new mines in Sweden
The opposition wants more mines
The Swedish Industry wants more mines
No major legal obstacles
The decision is currently with the government

In my humble view, it is just a matter of time before Beowulf gets a positive decision to mine.
Are we in for a ride?

A less promising development in Sweden. The government (or SGU) does not grant permission to a new chalk mine near Jokkmokk even though there is an urgent need for chalk in Sweden (the largest chalk mine being closed down next year due to political reasons), a need which risks closing down a lot of businesses.

It seems the government is not too happy about opening new mines in Sweden at all.
