I don’t understand Seagreen problem. I simply forecast a gross margin loss in the recently released results with a huge operating loss and cash burn. He derides it as fake news and made up figures. Then the RNS arrives confirming what I forecast. Then I forecast even worse figures for the next six months to 30/9/23 as coal prices are even lower and that cash burn means a placing or cash raise must be coming. He derides it as fake news and made up figures. When the RNS finally arrives it will confirm my figures.

He should thank me.

What waffle..."potentially verge". Haha, do you write BEN's RNSs by any chance? You certainly have potential.

Most strange he begs me to post my interpretations of the accounts and because my initial findings (I tend to double check my numbers and apply honest and believable logic, it is complex and phrases can be misinterpretated) appear to show his posts ever since the accounts were printed to potentially verge on deliberately false
deception of information in a potential effort to make a concert party attempt to manipulate the share price downwards for personal gain, he seems to have taken ymbrage.

of course if the perpatratory does not wish to defend my thoughts I need to tripple check the findings before I reprint the full findings for people to condier them..

China weighing up stimulus Fed looks like they have raised interest enough...strong demand pushing up coking coal prices ...still demand may increase ...Fingers crossed met coal prices may fly againAdded at 14p today just a smidge can not be doing with margined gambles Some of the analysis is so crooked on this board it is laughable...But we all know that

Please provide proof

Integrity will take no more than 2 trains a month and any more will be export sales via Avani and the revenue per ton for these is far far lower.

It doesn’t really matter what the headline coal price figures are. What counts is what BEN get.

My analysis has shown Integrity get about 30% of the Platts figure, maybe more. BEN cost per ton mined is $160 a ton so it must be $240 for a gross margin breakeven. Then add $1m per month admin, finance costs and another $1m a month non cash costs such as depreciation.

Integrity will take no more than 2 trains a month and any more will be export sales via Avani and the revenue per ton for these is far far lower.

So, even now BEN is burning cash and that is why I expect a cash raise.

Australian HCC metallurgical coal prices soared to 360 USD/t on tight supply on the spot market and strong demand from consumers in Asia and India.

So, it is now almost two years since BEN was admitted and 22 months since they started mining. I wonder when Adams excuse of “we are only a start up miner so cannot do quarterly reporting” will sound a little bit pathetic. It might be that the figures are so dire that they are best reported a year later and then with the normal promise of great times ahead so forget about the past. Certainly a solid seller out there and I am waiting for the placing announcement.

Thanks seagreen thats appreciated, would add that was reading on the lse boards recently that aussie coking coal was c.285 whilst bens was 238 so they were expecting a lift and that can be seen in the little chart on the barchart link in my earlier post so will be watching US prices keenly.

determined hear where you're coming from but that's still not the definition of a products scarcity and given that copper is 100 percent recyclable and that 32 percent of the worlds copper demand is met by the 2nd hand market (50 percent in eu) it can never be correct to call it "scarce" because there haven't been any high grade mines discovered recently.

To be technically correct you have to go by the dictionary definition its all we have.

Bg my friend (not allowed to use the chum word) who was heavily involved with Caledon mining, confirmed that the Aussie coking coal is of an even higher quality than us met coal, hence the price differential. But as you point out the bottle neck in Aussie prices will lift the whole global coking coal prices.

bad gateway,

I wasn't referring to the copper supply balance, the fact is that 15 years ago they were discovering grades of 5% in Chile, now it's down to a half of one percent in many cases.

We are mining the high grade stuff now, but in the future it will be much lower grade, It's getting harder to find just as we need an awful lot more of it to power the EV revolution.

I make Australian coking coal US$321 FOB

US coking coals have a variety of prices, depending on the coal quality, etc.
