The brokerage believes Bellway is better placed than peers to generate free cashflow by stopping all discretionary land spend, following the disclosure of detailed financial covenants at 2008 preliminary results on October 14. "We estimate that Bellway could generate GBP183M of free cashflow in 2009, with working capital cash inflows contributing GBP136M," it says. Has a 550p target price. Shares +3.4% at 461p.
