20/9/2023 09:17 | Given the news today I'm rather surprised that it hasn't had a bigger impact on the share price | vatnabrekk
20/9/2023 09:13 | BCE's and UJO's market caps are quite similar as both are in the low £20 millions. Might there be scope for something more on the corporate front here? UJO has ca. 300 bopd net from Wressle and BCE's cash flow will remain quite low until Schwarz-2 has - I hope - successfully cleaned up and has been seen to flow at a decent rate. 250 bopd net to BCE would be pretty good, maybe even better all being well, and would be on the same scale as UJO's. | greypanther2
20/9/2023 09:00 | Welcome lageraemia to the World of BCE | apotheki
20/9/2023 08:59 | Additionally GP2 as I questioned in an earlier post - is todays news a precursor to corporate activity in the form of a merger or a take over? | apotheki
20/9/2023 08:58 | Excellent point GP2 reference...."I'm also wondering if, as well as holding a small BCE stake, they might be interested in farming in to one of our German licences. They seem to be stymied by the UK planning system, which isn't the case in Germany." | apotheki
20/9/2023 08:53 | Keywords "INITIAL Investment""pleased to declare our initial investment in Beacon" From that we should able to assume there will be more to come. | bmwman3
20/9/2023 08:40 | UJO squad checking in....... I'm happy with this morning's news too. I'll probably start getting a few BCE shares tucked away too. Germany has shot itself in the foot shutting its world leading fleet of nuceal reactors early, and is having to expand opencast coal mining as a result of finding out the wind doesn't always blow and Baltic region isn't a Solar energy eldorado. A few small oil wells is an ecological blessing by comparison. | lageraemia
20/9/2023 08:36 | I've a reasonable holding in BCE which is showing a small (20% or so) profit and a slightly larger holding in UJO which isn't (yet) profitable. So, from a personal POV I was pleased to see UJO's 3.22% shareholding announcement this morning. I'm also wondering if, as well as holding a small BCE stake, they might be interested in farming in to one of our German licences. They seem to be stymied by the UK planning system, which isn't the case in Germany. | greypanther2
20/9/2023 07:50 | Yes bmwman3 your post was most fair and reasonable but we don't want any of their TROLLs over here! | apotheki
20/9/2023 07:48 | Just thought I'd put it out there not trolling | bmwman3
20/9/2023 07:47 | Hey bmwman3 could I politely suggest that you refrain from posting on the UJO thread as they also have their fair share of TROLLs who I for one would prefer NOT to see over here! | apotheki
20/9/2023 07:42 | Wonder if todays news will be a precursor to UOG not only upping their stake but taking matters even further?!?!? | apotheki
20/9/2023 07:41 | Spot on I had a large holding in UJO so I am not hammering this point on twitter but its SO valid | karina
20/9/2023 07:41 | Interesting point bmwman3 | apotheki
20/9/2023 07:35 | Plus if I were a UJO shareholder I'd prob think to myself why stay invested in UJO when I too could buy BCE! If the co I'm invested in is buying then rather than own BCE through UJO I'll buy direct! | bmwman3
20/9/2023 07:33 | And now another RNS out from BCE reference the INITIAL stake taken in BCE by UOG | apotheki
20/9/2023 07:30 | Additionally Karina as you asked the question earlier in POST 983 - according to the UOG thread they purchased their INITIAL stake in the very recent placement so acted as one of the cornerstone investors | apotheki
20/9/2023 07:27 | Yes Karina as they have just spent a cool circa 2/3rds of a million pounds on their INITIAL stake! Perhaps they will continue to BUY in the market? | apotheki
20/9/2023 07:24 | I can see some money moving over from UJO now | karina
20/9/2023 07:15 | Tulip Oil's holdings in BCE are U/C it's just the %'s that have changed due to the placing | apotheki
20/9/2023 07:14 | And now an RNS out from BCE | apotheki
20/9/2023 07:13 | Absolutely Karina | apotheki |
