Well there goes the T+2 sell opportunity ahead of Wednesday and the final settlement of the recent placing. The MMs took the bid all the way down to 0.15 this afternoon in an attempt to stop or at least reduce any last minute selling. Then as expected a nice wee bounce into the close.

Tomorrow should be a better day although still within this consolidation phase.

Hopefully we will get an update RNS on Wednesday to coincide with final settlement day.

On another day this pattern of buying would see the share price soar.....what are they playing at now....hopefully not a consolidation !

Got lucky with BCE I suppose as I sold half my holding on the Friday before the Mondays RNS and rode PANR for 20 percent then today bought back in Sold 3.6million shares and just bought back 5.6 million odd with same cash! Followed the selling on that Friday and followed the buying here today fingers crossed but this truly is a bargain at this share price IMHO I couldn't resist

Great buying opportunity at these share price levels for the many that were not invited into the placing.

Just speculation on my part of course but I am wondering if the company will release news via an RNS on Wednesday 20th to coincide with the settlement of the placement?

Many companies do this if they are of course in a position to!

Good moaning GP2 - unfortunately placees are free to sell placing shares prior to the 20th with the 20th still being the settlement date for the sold placing shares - it is a practice known as "forward selling".

Forward selling occurs when a company agrees to issue shares to a third party and that third party sells those shares in the market, prior to actually receiving them

ScepticalInvestor is right to be cynical about the placing participants when he says "Congrats to the placees who managed to dump their stock by the millions".
However, I see that the placing shares won't be admitted to AIM until Weds 20th, so doesn't this mean that they can't sell them until then? Thanks.
