Printing at a 5 year ( and longer) low ..down 62% over that period..it's not covid it's not Gaza theres a far bigger problem in delivering value to its shareholders over a long timeline.Meanwhile the executives get very well rewarded for running a small and getting smaller business despite what appears systemic failure in creating value for the people who own the company. Great gig and why should they risk their money alongside their shareholder's .. they seem far more careful with their own money than that.

Yep looks like we’re close to something. Israel unofficially accepted the proposals now just the other side. Fingers crossed

Sounds like we could finally be close to a permanent ceasefire..the ball is in what is left of Hamas' court and there will be issues along the way..but the first step should be greeted positively. The underformance of BATM against the benchmark index there makes little sense against what is a business largely overseas save Cyber..but it might help sentiment?https://news.sky.com/story/israel-has-offered-ceasefire-and-hostage-proposal-to-hamas-says-biden-13146193

The share seemed inextricably linked to the Tase on the way down and completely detached on the way back up. Madness

The Israeli stock market is up over 1 year despite the initial Oct collapse...the impact on business and valuation appears less significant on sentiment than one might have thought. The TA- 125 up 15% over I year Nasdaq up 27% over 1 year FTSE all share up 11% over 1 year.

The capital markets day was almost exactly a year ago now, where Moti set out vision and strategy. It was a time of great optimism I seem to remember ..things would change under Moti. The share are down another 25% since then.https://www.batm.com/media/1435/batm-capital-markets-day-2023.pdfThe horrendous events in Oct 23 and aftermath have certainly likely impeded some initiatives but also might be a factor in cyber orders , an area of the few positives since.

The board must be acutely aware that they must now deliver. I'm sure the conflict has delayed or undermined deals that were cooking before. Despite this surely some big news must be headed our way. About a month ago, I said my patience had a shelf life of 2-3 months. We are getting near the use by date.

Yep I'm afraid the patience of more patient investors than me is being tested. The sum of the parts and the IP value arguments only really work if people want their businesses or technology on a commercial basis. What we have here is some dull distribution businesses making small money all of which are non core and apparently for disposal. Then we have the core businesses which again in telco and adaltis have fairly low growth revs from existing operations , the only side seeing rapid growth is cyber , in a rapidly expanding sector. With one customer. The hope of growth is around Edgility and ADOR..neither of which have delivered the near term high margin high growth revs anticipated..ADOR yet to make any commercial sales as yet to have a product...Edgility seemingly a decent product getting lost in a rapidly growing market dominated by the big boys...talk of building sales teams or acquisitions in US to access tier 1 is all too late ..to think how you sell a product you spent $10ms developing after it is commercially ready seems just amateur. It's a jumble of somewhat random businesses none of which have any critical mass or real focus. Something that was to be addressed i thought by the new CEO?We all like to think they will crack it in new markets with new products because we keep being told the company is on the cusp...but it never happens.Very significant investment ( relative to balance sheet) has been made in the new products over the past several years if there is not some return soon on that investment there should be a wholesale look at the management structure and strategy because it is clearly not working in the interests of shareholders. As for LOAM they are normally quite vocal as shareholders ..i note Rob Giles senior manager was posting a lot about Egility last year ( linkedin) ..not so much recently ..might indicate his enthusiasm?

Would agree with much that FSE says ..but also the conclusion that the risk reward strongly favours the upside if they manage to deliver on the latest narrative around growth and traction. Much has been promised before the end of CY2024 on all fronts..and little so far delivered as we head towards the half year . This seems a familiar BATM position to be in.I have always remained pretty sceptical on the set up but have always been convinced that the valuation doesn't discount any success in delivering on their stated strategy..it seems as time ticks on others are getting frustrated by the continuing trend of talking the talk but not walking the walk.As sentiment and the share price hits lows just hoping for once the company has something meaningful to deliver soon to reinvigorate the possibility this might just deliver value to its long suffering holders.

Well to say the whole situation is a disaster would be putting it mildly. It's going to be months before there is any peace in Israel. The share price just gets walked down daily on low volumes and lack of any encouraging news on any front.
BATM "should" be making in roads with Edgility now that there are signs of adoption of Edge computing platforms starting to trickle in but we have passed the point where there should be a heck of a lot better news coming from the company than we have had.
One of the worst concerns I have about this company is that they are a R&D company and would have sold these technologies on or partnered with a very large corporation. This has not happened and I feel they are too small to make it on their own.
This does not mean that the company is not worth a lot more than its being traded at if you value their IP but their ability to successfully market and sell these products must come into serious doubt.
Telco systems is the problem as for whatever reason they are unable to convert leading tech into sales, this IP should have been sold off.
Cyber is a bright spot but the platform is too restrictive and the company was supposed to offer a commercial version of what they supply the IDF with but it has not happened.
Adaltis looks like it's a pretty solid business but its not that large. ADOR could very well be worth a significant amount of money but it's not yet an adopted platform.
My bottom line is that at these levels the company is hardly a risk if you are willing to hold them. My unfortunate conclusion is that whilst they might have the tech they do not have the expertise for sales and marketing. The best product is not necessarily the one that sells.

Very poor performance against a far more robust technology and small co sector in recent months Market cap now below £80m with a chunk of change on the balance sheet..so trading at a significant discount to book value.5 months through the year and little visible progress in delivering on strategy ..just ongoing misplaced optimism on delivery in the future. Jam.It appears the only ones who get any joy or return from this business are the folks who run it , in the form of renumeration..for shareholders it's a frustrating and unrewarding experience of false hope."...I am excited about the progress we will make in 2024. Accordingly, and supported by our strong balance sheet, we look to the future with confidence and look forward to reporting on our progress." MotiI look forward to some genuine solid delivery on refocusing strategy and some real traction on our forever inflecting technology not just words..maybe the shares may better reflect the excitement and confidence then that the current rating seems to value at very little.

Thanks Wizz there seems to be a lot of these applications that suit edge. Like 911 emergency services. Telco are making a big noise at all the right trade shows etc to get the word out. So hoping a contract or two comes good again soon.

Car1pet, as Resistance said I am sure there is something stopping the CEO from buying shares, in terms of management performance so far in 2024 I think they started off well with some very positive contract announcements. Would be good to get a couple more before the end of Q2.

Well that’s the backdrop they have the kit. They ought to be able to benefit, carpet comments notwithstanding

The global #edge #computing market is predicted to grow to $317bn by 2026 from $16bn in 2023, promising to revolutionise #mobile #networks. However, as mobile networks continue to embrace edge computing and decentralise #data, ensuring network security systems are effective becomes ever more vital.

He earns £1m per annum he clearly doesn't believe the shares will be rising any time soon. He needs to be replaced by someone who knows how to run a profitable business and not a research group
