Strange they post some interesting stuff up on their twitter feed but for a company with a fair few shareholders that is dual listed and has been listed for 25 years they have less than 100 followers..one is me!

It's silent because there's not a lot to add to what was shared here last week: the share price is a bit more buoyant because a large, relentless seller working through Shore Capital finally seemed to have finished mid-week last week. Beyond that, it is simply too early to comment on why we've then bounced 15%+ from Thurs to today: either its simply a relief rally reflecting a big seller finally finishing, or that plus a real buyer emerging (who seems to be working through Shore Cap ironically), or both of those things combined with the sniff of potential good news on the back of last week's discussion here regarding why the buyback has not yet started. Let's hope its all 3 and we get news soon, but for myself, I'm an 'FSE-BATM' shareholder: I think we can and should get back to 60-70p range just on the basis that the company is keenly priced, firing on all cylinders, and never should have gotten down to these ridiculous levels in the first place but for the excessive, non-economic selling prompted by the indefensible 'decision' by the FTSE/Russell index committee.

Long may it last, hope we can get back to around the 65p region in a month or so!! Because of the large fall recently the move back up will be swift. Fundamentals are still strong.

Telco systems invented and produced a photonic switch which was unfortunately way too ahead of its time or rather providers lack the foresight to adopt it. They are used today. One of its features is of course to deal with latency and last mile.
Telco were unable to capitalize on this but it does give a very real insight into their capabilities when you look at what they are involved with today.

There does seem to be a buyer in the market on this otherwise miserable day, but again, it is unlikely the Company as yet.

Yeah i was around then ..it was the second company listed on the newly created Aim market I believe..something like that. The photonics routers or ‘pumps’ as Zvi liked to refer to them as looked just great and drove a ridiculous valuation (10 times current value at a guess) not sure they ever really got the pumps to actually gain any commercial traction though as technology moved on. Often in the right place never quite catching the wave. Would be interesting to look at how much the company has raised in equity over the years against current market cap to see how much value has been added in 25 years i guess.

Thanks kooba , I made my money on bvc in the 1990 s when I had a few discussions with zvi at about the time he was doing newspaper articles about the matrix movie , all the ecpxcitement over the photonic router and rumours of a Cisco bid , I was in before all that , just come back into having shares in it again this year just for something to do

If you wish to challenge my posts knock yourself out..just asking if I am a shareholder when suggesting I am a fantasist is hardly giving you any proof..the fact you have an account set up a few months ago and your only posts seem to be on this single stock certainly indicates you are are highly experienced investor to make judgements. I wish you well with your investment and if you have read i have speculated on the possibility of an MBO quite a few times..good job you are keeping up.

As I said yesterday I loaded up at 40p , thanks for the clever compliment , never a truer word said by you , I was just checking you actually held shares in bvc or otherwise some might have thought you were just another fantasist and troll spending so much time on an internet forum trying to make himself smart
I wouldn't think that though , I think now is a good time to buy buy of course a market crash would see it fall to 20p I'm hoping that won't happen and looking to get to 80p within 2 years , it wouldn't surprise me if the company went private though , they can have mine for 60p tomorrow

Agree on spread especially in early stage. The problem with BATM and the sum of the parts is that to be frank it's a mess of subsidiaries and holdings that all makes sense in Zvi's head but not necessarily to the market ..if you could untangle the individual interests and in many cases overlapping revenues then you might well end up with a value enhancing break up ..maybe that's what is being worked on ? To coin an old Goldsmith term over BATs ..an unbundling might well release value , but will Zvi let go of any reins and will the outside shareholders in these companies prefer everything to stay as it is? Some of these types of play end up as value traps as you can't get the value out...down here though the risk reward looks good that something will change.

Undoubtably seed capital investments are long term plays and usually best to have a basket of them as 1 out of 10 make it big time 2 out of 10 go sideway maybe a small profit 2 more die an agonizing death, the other 4 never get off the starting blocks.
Thats my experience with them.

One of the big problems in valuing BATM is that they are not a new company and are looked at more as an established company with X sales and Y profits and should have at least an average PER in the sector as they are debt free.
The issue here is that whilst they have an exposure to legacy hardware/products/solutions they have invested in future technology and that development is well advanced and they are starting to see limited revenue from this. Thats not getting represented in the enterprise value.
What I am saying is that if ADOR were to float with the patents and general IP it owns it could be at a substantial level as it is already cash generative with advanced solutions at the Trial and POC stage. Thats in addition to what they have in an existing product line.

Lets say you floated off Telco, Celare, Celitron, Ador, Adaltis etc..... thats where ST in Inv Chronicle and I came up with the 160p sum of the parts.

As it goes sunshine your average doesn’t make sense as you were holding back in February it seems..did you cut and dump out and get back in or did you do a huge average at the lows. Once again good luck with your investment.

What has that got to do with anything exactly but it's sub 50p some at 52p than more than doubled ..as mentioned on here around 44p..why that has anything to do with the value of the company or how order driven markets work or conspiracies wtfks..but there you go. Please explain why you think that is important ..or the price you paid..btw you are so clever aren't you ..whose a clever boy then . Zzzz

Quite a bit to unpick there but if you are experienced in private equity investing then you are engaging in long term patient investing when any exit may be years away you don't see movements in the valuation on a day to day basis ..so the last funding round saw Ador at valued at around $68m and BATMs holding worth less than 10% of the BATM market cap. Now you could buy BATM to get exposure to Ador but it currently represents a relatively small part of the market cap. If it was far higher I could see it as a way of getting exposure but doubt here as there is a further 90% of the market cap to account for. Cannot see any new info on Ador following MI intros to prompt a higher value than last fund raise just now.
