17/6/2024 15:51 | He has never bought any shares since appointment as CFO..9 years and has never wanted to invest in the company he is trusted to run. He has exercised options and sold all the shares in that time grossing a cool $1m or there abouts. But he and the current cfo do not hold a single share between them as things stand. If anyone can find another listed company anywhere where the two senior executives don't hold a share please let me know..I can't think of a single one.Moti Nagar was appointed CEO effective 1 January 2023, having been the Group's CFO since 2015. | ![]() kooba
17/6/2024 15:29 | That is all rubbish and an excuse. They are in business they get contracts ( hopefully) that is what shareholders should expect them to do..they have guided on further take up of Edgility ..so it is part of expectation. They have guided to some M&A in terms of selling no core businesses..fine go sell some..but they are fully free to deal n the shares unless there is the real certainty of a transaction.Same with any acquisition. There is no reason the directors have not been able to deal after the results and are not a in a lose period now. They just don't want to risk their own money...an awful sign when the shares have fallen so far and the executives say they are cheap. Money wear mouth is time. The end of the half year is in 2 weeks and little has been delivered. The share price is moving against the sector and Israeli indices .the share price here is normally correct...we just find out why after the falls.I doubt trading is good or anything positive is happening in the background I'm afraid. The share price is telling us so. | ![]() kooba
17/6/2024 15:04 | When the question was asked, they stated that there were very few opportunities and then with ongoing contract negotiations and potential sales of part of the business, they didn't expect to get permission to buy shares. | ![]() paulisi
17/6/2024 14:23 | Nothing to stop directors buying shares provided its outside the reporting restrictions. | ![]() car1pet

17/6/2024 14:15 | Spread now down to 16.60p As Kooba has already commented if the Board believes they are turning the company round they should be buying bucket loads of shares at this price. They aren't what does that tell you......... | ![]() car1pet
17/6/2024 08:43 | Frustrating yes, unexpected no. CityFibre have 50k businesses hooked up. A tiny fraction relevant to edge at the moment. Like the early days of Cloud. Most edge contracts you read about are for vertical markets like building supplies(Cemex), retail, oil & gas etc. The 1st batch of licences simply haven’t been fully allocated I bet. I haven’t seen other edge ISP contracts from other edge orchestration companies. But they will happen but not to the timeframe wanted by frustrated investors. When it comes to ISPs being in at the ground floor is the important thing. | ![]() resistance1
15/6/2024 06:40 | This is a typical BATM situation.About 2 years ago trials ..20 months ago we get this..yippee here we go ,here we go ,here we go!"For the initial order, as CityFibre begins the process, BATM will receive recurring licence fees for a five-year period plus certain hardware sales estimated to be worth a total of $3.5 million. The Group expects the number of end point deployments to be rapidly expanded to tens of thousands per year and believes the financial value of this partnership to the Group will grow substantially in the near-term as the volume of licences increases. "Much talk I remember of forgetting the small initial order as this grows exponentially as its deployed...easy money. The good news cityfibre seems to be flourishing with fully funded package in placehttps://thebusi | ![]() kooba

13/6/2024 17:18 | Sums up the excitement here the closing price up 3.9% reflect an auction close in 9 shares! Most of the volume of 34k was far lower! Dead in the water. | ![]() kooba
13/6/2024 17:16 | Fair do's i hope you are right. Just over a year since the capital markets day and much confidence that things were changing , another profit warning later and I'm afraid there is little evidence in the past 12 months we are going anywhere anytime soon. | ![]() kooba
13/6/2024 16:23 | I agree with you on this and most of your other observations on the company. The directors should buy in though something must be stopping them. Or they don’t want to! I think they are being over cautious but clearly we must be very near disposal(s) or a major partnership that they or their advisors think stops share buying. Once we get these announcements we should see directors buys PDQ on the heels of these announcements. The combination of these events should trigger the long awaited rally. The resulting focussed group should also be far more attractive for valuation purposes. | ![]() resistance1
13/6/2024 15:43 | Resistance1 my whole point is that there has been nothing price sensitive since the results so the pdmr's have been clear to deal..the benchmark is a high certainty that something price sensitive could come out ..since nothing has come out being remotely price sensitive for months then nothing would have prevented them dealing. If there is something bullish coming at any point i think you just need to see a jump in TASE to know it's coming orders unless transformational in size are normal course of business ..or should be as guided. The strategic review talk of disposals ..fine work on some but does not prevent director dealing unless there is a high degree of certainty that it completes...nothing has.Ergo they have been free to deal since the results announcement. | ![]() kooba
13/6/2024 12:47 | Think theres a bit of hope over experience there...i look everywhere for Celare ..bit like other subsids they never get a mention anywhere..literally anywhere. Apart from BATM rns's you wouldn't know some of BATM interests exist! The issue with the Israel stock market going back up is that it already has. After 7/10 it fell 14% but is now up 5% since pre attack levels.Batm fell 27% in the period after the attack and is now 37% down from pre attack levels. One can extrapolate over 5 years tse 125 index up 35% Batm down 63%Batm has underperformed the index it was in by 40% since beginning Oct 2023 and by 100% over 5 years so I'm not sure a rising tide will raise all boats..this looks rather stock specific.A peace settlement will no doubt help sentiment sure but unlikely to improve the relative performance. | ![]() kooba
13/6/2024 09:09 | Another Israeli Cyber supplier to IDF valued at £1bn. Are BATM getting approaches for Celare which are being rejected? I sincerely hope not:... A US private equity fund, which has a portfolio of security companies, is in talks to acquire control of Israeli cyberattack company Paragon Solutions. Based In Tel Aviv’s Discount Bank Tower, the company was founded five years ago by the former commander of the IDF 8200 intelligence unit Brig. Gen. (res.) Ehud Schneorson, and CEO Idan Nurick, and CTO Igor Bogudlov, both 8200 veterans, with the active involvement of former Prime Minister Ehud Barak as an investor, who it is estimated owns several percent in the company. The small stake will likely be worth many millions of dollars. Sources have told "Globes" that the negotiations reflect a company valuation for Paragon of over $1 billion and that the US fund will pay between $700 million and $1.1 billion for control of the company. In recent days, concerns have been raised by the potential US buyer that the deal will require Israeli government approval, since Paragon operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Defense. So a similar company whose prime customer is the IDF is worth $1bn. Clearly on roll out potential to other Governments. Why then then lack of interest in BATM to potentially unlock and access the cyber division? Market visibility could be one point. BATM are not on the radar of US private equity perhaps. One expected product launch that will definitely put Celare on the map will be the much heralded commercial cyber product. When this happens it could be the market wake up call we have all patiently been waiting for. | ![]() resistance1

12/6/2024 09:38 | More likely disposals. They dont take 18-months to arrange, but we dont know the back story and how the events of last year may have delayed or interrupted the process. When there is an opportunity to buy in the open market, and of course there will be, the Directors should without delay. | ![]() resistance1
12/6/2024 06:44 | Normal course of business orders and even preliminary talks around more meaningful orders or technology adoption that shareholders are aware is the aim do not prevent director dealing. Preliminary talks around corporate developments with no certainty of any transaction , again in line with stated strategy does not prevent director dealing. Only when there is some certainty around imminent news that could be seen as price sensitive do pdmr's become restricted in their dealing. They are also restricted in the close period , the 30 days before release of interim and final results. Moti's response to previous enquiries as to why they hold no shares and have never bought any in 8 years of being a senior executive is incorrect and a merely an excuse...why he does not see the shares as offering value for his own money is unclear. Knowing many listed company directors over the years who know their business inside out they have been very keen to invest in their business when they are able to and think the share price does not reflect the potential. They realise it is rather difficult trying to convince investors that the shares are great value and eminently investable when they will not invest themselves. Most companies now insist on executives building a meaningful shareholding during their tenure often a holding representing 200% of basic salary..they should also not rely on incentives to achieve this position ..it is seen as good corporate governance for uk listed companies to ensure alignment with senior management to shareholders. All Moti has done is exercised options since he has been with the company and sold every single share taking an additional $1m out personally.Whole thing needs a shake up and be run for the people that own the business not those that run it. | ![]() kooba
11/6/2024 17:28 | The only decent print today is 80 odd thousand at 16.5p...just no support. I'm afraid if there was some imminent good news the shares would reflect it ..so anything before the end of the 1st half on trading or corporate is looking rather unlikely for now. Hope Moti proves me wrong. With nothing but normal ( small ) orders since the finals in March there has been absolutely no reason why the CEO or CFO cannot join the share register and show some confidence in the tales of inflection points they tell...none at all. | ![]() kooba
11/6/2024 16:40 | Car1pet you are talking about a (previous) director of BATM having to get the can for things to get better ! | ![]() kooba |
