On the strategy front 4 core businesses and 10 non core to be divested. ...at some point. They say many of these businesses are performing well ..As to whether they achieve realisations they think are attractive remains a key to delivering their strategic aims. But for now appears to me an acquisition is more likely than a disposal.

From my notes a figure that stuck out was the scale of investment in Edgility which they stated was $35m...a significant investment into a software product which one would hope would provide a commensurate high return on capital invested and i agree if they have a class leading product they need to capitalise immediately on getting market share.Fingers crossed they have target to boost the sales platform in key markets already in their sights.

kooba. Thank you for the reply.
I agree they do need to move quickly its also a real problem in competing with much larger companies who are racing on with their own solutions.

Your questions were put forward and answered. As to listings and market perception they are constantly looking at what would be best for shareholders...no promises of losing TASE listing. If the company's market cap grows it could return to he Israeli indexes..though not the UK ones.On cash someone was asking for more returns..you were pushing for the company to invest...they see the balance and the attractiveness of the current valuation. They see a lot of room on the share price to increase and see the shares as undervalued on any sum of the parts. But indicated no further share buyback and if i am correct a chunk of the cash will be used to buy a US network distribution outfit with avenues into tier one customers for the rapid sales push of Edgility. With Edgility the initial costs of hardware install limits margins but after a few years as a software product margins will expand on renewals and updates..think that was the gist.If they have the product which they think they do...then they need to move quickly i accept...whether they find the right friendly acquisition and manage to start rolling products out quickly is the key...and could be money very well spent.

Yes Kooba thats likely the case
I screwed up the time difference and missed the meeting. I "pre" asked about the listings and Russel Index etc and what they intended to do.
Did they mention anything about the listings
I also asked about Edgility revenue avenues and acquisitions to expand this offering to a wider market.

Overall I have been given confidence that we will see an improving situation at pace. Needless to say I wont be selling any time soon.

I spotted that...more than double the whole of last year in the first half..i think he said..then did mumble a few M i think. But agree was somewhat "political" he may have to be careful on specifics and particularly forward looking statement though.Though on Edgility of the 20 ongoing proof of concepts not all will lead to agreement ..but some will go forward "not too long from today" i think he said...so we could have some more Edgility news-flow coming.

I asked the very first question about revenues and potential revenues for agility and it was answered like a politician, with no numbers mentioned.I know it is a low base, but trying to get an idea of size and thus potential....

I messed up the Zoom meeting today (wrong time zone !) , so ended up missing it by an hour after having registered.
Did anyone here attend and if so maybe they can summarize it.
Some feedback over on the other thread.

Added. Thanks to kooba who has filled me in on the questions I had asked.
From what I hear it was a largely well received event.
One thing we all seem to agree on is that they need to go after the Edge share of the market and this may well mean acquisitions.

I get it , its just...a bit deja vu!BATM said it bought Boston-based Telco Systems from parent telecoms company World Access for $326.6 million. "The acquisition will give BATM access to Telco's customers in the U.S. marketplace. Telco currently markets and sells network transport and access systems to telecom giants such as AT&T Corp and MCI WorldCom Inc. BATM finalised arrangements last December with U.S. diversified manufacturer Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing Co., or 3M, to develop a handset whch can work over Internet Protocol for local and wide area networks."https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/news/article-1573451/BATM-in-US-takeover.html

There is speed required with the Edgility roll-out. The 18-month lead is only valuable if you can gain significant commercial traction before alternatives reach the market. Assuming they would have to borrow to buy a networking company with established Tier one access. Or a JV of course.

Yes you heard that right...the other reading between the lines was that Batm is close to buying a Networking Ethernet company( i presume in the US ) to get into tier one customers with Edgility ..whilst this may appear a great idea and i accept that there are issues in getting products to market when against the big boys ..this if i remember correctly was the strategy behind the Telco acquisition in the first place all those years ago for $100m's. So rather hoping they find the right company to buy and that it gives them the access they think they need..also apart from our cash reserves how do we fund anything meaningful..surely not paper??

What did we learn from the webinar:New edgility contracts ro be announced soon - 20 or so POCNo buyback likely- using cash to target acquisitions in networking area(with strong marketing divisions) and gain more access to tier 1 companiesStill looking to spin off non core businessesMargins will increase due to edgility sales especially when hardware is installedAdor is just a development company and will probably sell off the patents to bigger companies to launch products at a later dateShare price is undervalued as per Moti

What did everyone think. The biggest piece of intel was that the Commercial Cyber product would be ready 1-year from now. If I heard that right.

Thanks..have registered ( i think) and put a question..a friendly one about how well prepared is the diagnostic division in meeting a suddenly jump in demand for testing against new strains of covid and whether shareholders should expect better sales traction in meeting demand if that transpires. But having registered there does not appear an acknowledgement and link sent to email.
