Final results in 3-4 weeks hopefully focus will be on future not historic performance and some clarity around strategy and timescales of deliverability. This is Moti's first opportunity to show he is his own man and has clear route to demonstrating and delivering shareholder value...lets hope he takes full advantage and gets some sceptical shareholders on side. Thanks for thoughts ..on buyback certainly they should now be in the close period and restricted if there is no prior arrangement with Shore. So it might be we see nothing till results released. The cyber deal could also have meant they were restricted over year end i guess. The bio side potential $25m order has been cleansed to the market and now forms part of expectation of that landing in the near future , whilst it may be received well on confirmation i do not believe it a reason to leave the company restricted.Moti has hit the ground running on the cyber side but bio has been quiet and telco needs to update on progress of Egility hopefully a full open update on strategy with the results.

On the frozen buyback, I'm a bit stumped. If Shore Cap have discretion, they may have been waiting for the share price to fall back a bit further, but that seems unlikely. At THIS point, they may be in their quiet period if results are in fact due by end of Feb, but it's true that they haven't been buying from before the usual 30-day-to-results restriction period.

Kooba - I've a long-standing belief that Ador would need to be pursuing new capital around this time to fund their new generation, all-singing, all-dancing diagnostic tech, probably dating back to when BATM were showcasing it at the Milken Conference this past summer (source would have been a fellow shareholder who managed to attend or spoke to someone who did, but I can't recall). In fact, I believe I've written a couple times since then that one potential - though obviously less likely - event catalyst for our asset-rich, public valuation-starved share price would be a significant up round which blows well past the current, very modest imbedded valuation for Ador, but one where BATM also does not participate, allowing its current 38% to be diluted down to say, 25%. The result of that would be that the Company would save the cash for the buyback and investment elsewhere, but also end up with 25% of a much larger imputed valuation for Ador than currently, which could then have a real impact on the share price. Anyway, a girl can dream.

The company has shareholder approval to buy back 44m odd shares 10% of outstanding from when the share price was in the 50's..so far they have bought back about 4.4m now held in treasury , only about 1% of outstanding..if they think the company is just about to break out in a number of markets and they have excess capital, and the share buyback forms part of the boards value enhancing strategy ..why are we frozen again ?

So what do the optimists make of the current price? There is a wide spread and low volumes. What happened to the buyback? Where are the big order announcements?
What I don't understand is why the major shareholders (excluding Marom who doesn't know what day it is)aren't asking hard questions of the "board" (3 men and no dog even.
LO bought when the price was well above 50p so they have a large paper loss at the moment. Maybe they use it to offset profits on other assets.

Echo...ADOR fundraise progress, ADOR raised $10m a year ago I haven't seen BATM comment on need for further funding and would have hoped the company would have started to get commercial traction before a further fundraise. Why do you think they are fundraising..I might have missed this. Would one expect an up round looking at PE valuations and the lack of commercial revenues?

For me, the job may be a titch more complicated for a finance director due to the largely independent divisions, the significant, but non-controlling stake in ADOR, etc, so I prefer an internal promotion on balance, but honestly, I don't think there's much to see here. What we really need is to hear from Moti and his team soon on what the strategic focus of the Company will be under his leadership and of course, an update on the progress of the CityFibre roll-out in particular, but also more meat on the bone of the recent Cyber contract, ADOR fundraise progress, the buyback status, and so on...

The internal appointment did not take a month it took best part of three months ..Moti move to CEO was announced 6th Oct and the succession planning would and should have been months before that rns.Would have preferred to see an outside appointment in the circumstances anyway.

First action of the new CEO to appoint his no2 as CFO. Why has it taken a month to appoint a CFO from an internal promotion. If it takes that long for one simple action that could have been done 1st January what hope is he will drive the business at pace.
