07/10/2022 10:54 | Evidence: no pre-announcement whatever. Otherwise, I'm not sure what further point you're making. Of course he remains the biggest shareholder, so what? I never said he won't still be a factor at the company. And what is this obsession about what 'normally' happens with companies these days when it comes to conventions regarding whether ex-CEOs can or do end up as Chairman, exec or otherwise? Since when has BATM ever complied with convention, least of all ones that favour small shareholders? Isn't that attitude precisely what everyone here is constantly complaining about? You think someone like zvi would have given 2 hoots about what's conventional, proper corporate behaviour in a situation like this? Of course he wouldn't. Like he's always done, he would have put 2 fingers up and insisted on remaining in a senior role no matter how it looked. No, he's clearly been pushed aside and has complied, happily or not I have no idea. It's Moti's company now and I believe shareholders can finally have a genuine expectation of change | ![]() echoridge

07/10/2022 10:29 | ..being pushed out as CEO. Evidence? The idea of a CEO moving to Chair is not a thing these days it flies in the face of any code of corporate governance. A chair should only be appointed on a listed company if they are independent. Staying on the board itself is a very very rare occurrence and is not considered good practise at all.As a connected party and major shareholder he is as far from independent as you can go. Him staying on the board at all if he is retiring is ill advised..and does not send out a signal that things are about to change.Zvi publicly stating that he would still be running strategy is a message that confirms suspicions of him still pulling the strings. | ![]() kooba
07/10/2022 09:51 | Don't want to start anything wizz, but your last comment about zvi somehow continuing to pull the strings behind the scenes, etc, was way off the mark. One thing about yesterday's announcement that didn't get enough attention was where Zvi landed after being pushed out as CEO. If your idea had any chance of being accurate, then Zvi would have demanded and/or negotiated a 'demotion' to Chairman, where he would have obviously retained a degree of genuine authority. Instead, he fell 2 slots, as it were, and landed with a just a board seat. Like the rest of yesterday's announcement, this is screaming a message to the market if it only chooses to listen, in my view. Zvi's days of running BATM and more specifically, setting out the Firm's strategy(ies) - including its approach to the stock market, corporate structure, etc. - are well and truly over. It may take longer than we would like, but I further reckon that that's going to register with potential buyers who have waiting for a trigger like this for some time. | ![]() echoridge

07/10/2022 06:29 | Yes some interesting bits in there especially around nasdaq and SPAC interest now in the rear view.Slightly concerning.. "I shall continue to deal with strategic matters at the company.." what this means and how it might work with a new CEO in place who knows..but any major change in strategy i suppose is not on the cards? On Moti being the CFO and the de facto COO position wonder how"Ariel Efrati is the Chief Operating Officer of BATM, where he oversees BATM's global business operations and telecommunications practices, and acts as Chief Executive Officer for Telco Systems, a BATM wholly owned subsidiary. "Feels about that comment. | ![]() kooba

06/10/2022 21:01 | Carpet ....The lad went from CFO to COO to defacto CEO to CEO He is well qualified for the job and has been noticed on here it would have the advantage of maintaining continuity forwards as he knows the business. 06/10/2022 17:05 | Moti is CEO come January so not in charge now.Does Zvi have some news in the q4 to go out on a better note and firmer share price..we could have news flow from any side.ADOR..anythingE | ![]() kooba
06/10/2022 16:44 | At the end of the day it is the deals announced from now that will have an upward trend on share price. I await with patience and a good degree of confidence. | ![]() resistance1
06/10/2022 16:33 | Looking at all the sells today the market seems to see this as a negative , this is a company at the cutting edge of science , why have an accountant at the helm instead of of someone qualified to understand the products , it makes no sense unless there is more to it than has been disclosed , maybe he is in place to break the company up or sell parts of it | ![]() landskermichael
06/10/2022 15:51 | I have to agree, with Moti Nagar now in charge i haven't been this bullish with BATM. Mr. Nagar has been the Group’s Chief Financial Officer since 1 January 2015 since Covid meaning he has adequate experience to drive this company in the right direction with shareholders interests at the center of his decision making. I have my fingers in numerous pies but i think i am prepared to concentrate my funds towards BATM in the near future. Very Bullish. | tradeterminator01
06/10/2022 14:58 | This is actually a typical and logical move. Some particularly relevant comments from echo which I am not going to replicate. I mentioned this at the end of last month and IMO explains the switch at the top. Also I clipped what I feel is the most relevant piece in the RNS today, namely that the company is at major inflection points with both divisions. Remember Telco systems has its own CEO. There is no suggestion that we are losing Marom. The company despite the share price is a much larger concern than it was and is too demanding for one person running the IP development and the day to day business. FSE 30 Sep '22 - 21:08 - 21662 of 21703 >car1pet.... Its normally the case that someone who sets up a company and takes it from R&D to a commercial manufacturing stage is probably not the best person to take it forward. BATM RNS comment..... "With both the Networking & Cyber and Bio-medical divisions at key inflection points, I feel now is the natural moment for me to hand over the running of the Group to someone who can progress it to the next stage Added content: I have no idea what Shore are going on about, hopefully we will lose them and that really would be good news. This IMO is worth watching again.Added. Last clip from Zvi August 24th 2022. | ![]() fse
06/10/2022 14:25 | The change wouldn't be for health reasons as it would be immediate rather than January 1st. Looking back Moti stepped up as CFO on Jan 1 too a few years back, after joining the company in a lesser role a few months prior. BATM's mondus operandi perhaps? Lansker I appreciate you are a strong Zvi supporter and advocate, but equal numbers on here are not. I regard the change as net positive. On the matter of taking the company private or selling off divisions, no company is going to share boardroom arguments on the matter with the markets... answering the 'kept in the dark' accusation. | ![]() resistance1
06/10/2022 14:01 | What nobody can answer is why zvi stood down , that is what we need to know , has there been an argument about taking the company private or even selling it , as usual we have been kept in the dark | ![]() landskermichael
06/10/2022 13:42 | Landsker: well if that’s how you feel Moti is probably your favoured choice then. If you had to make one. Zvi will want his massive shareholding to realise its true value surely? And then be able to cash in some of it? This is a price positive move in the months to come. | ![]() resistance1
06/10/2022 13:20 | So this was the hidden reason for the share price collapse , no real explanation for why he has stood down , this is a big blow , I felt I could trust the company with zvi in charge Its not a good look replacing a top scientist with an accountant, couldn't they have chosen someone better , a lot of people will lose faith now and it wouldn't surprise me if this drops to 15p over the coming months | ![]() landskermichael
06/10/2022 12:31 | You need a highly motivated entrepreneur who can cut deals to try to get some value out of this counter..not a safe pair of hands. Zvi was always more academic in approach in my view spotting areas there was a market and intellectually working to the answer but and I'm sure others will disagree has not converted the science into the market in any meaningful way ..yet. The business is not focused enough on delivering recognisable value and is or was easily diverted and lacking targets. | ![]() kooba
06/10/2022 12:21 | resistance. I'm basing my judgement on what I've seen at the results calls. He didn't come across as someone who will kickstart the business. He came across as an accountant. I've run businesses and my experience of accountants is that they are cautious individuals who keep control of the finances and don't get the riskier world of sales. I hope I'm wrong | ![]() car1pet |
