The company has either falsified what they are doing and the share price has understandably collapsed or it has been manipulated to pick up cheap shares,
We have no idea what goes on in Israel or whats been said or alluded to.
A company with this cash and potential and year on growth for the last 5 years does not just collapse.

There was a significant short position in BATM in Israel. That position has been unwound and one heck of a lot of extremely cheap shares have gone somewhere !

5 Minutes later and the volume is up with the share price all over the place I have never seen a company share price behave like this ubnless its being controlled.

The share price is being manipulated in Israel again and I totally agree this hardly equates to delivering shareholder value. It is behaving like a company thats about to go to the wall. If thats the case then they have done a great job of fooling everyone or there are other motives, either way the valuations/SP make no sense whatsoever

What's the excuse this time?

The proposed buyback “forms part of the Board's broader strategy to deliver shareholder value”.

It was passed in the general meeting 17 March 2022.

They have announced the date of the interims at least 10 days in advance last few years ..good practise , and such practise should be consistent.So last year they announced on the 12th August that interims would be released on the 23rd.Maybe they are saving money on reducing rns' this year!?

BATM plan to sell their cyber business and have referenced that in interviews. Probably in 18month to 2 year period. They do intend to keep elements of it but do not wish to be involved with large government contracts.
Plan was to dispose of that and the distribution business
Still we have not heard any more on that side for a while.

Well interims in the next 2 weeks will hopefully give clarity on progress across divisions and on what happened to the share buyback. Also whether there are any other other strategies that might enhance shareholder value that would reflect positively on the valuation ie ideas around separating business lines. Hopefully some trigger for some significant outperformance ..fingers crossed.
