02/8/2022 08:20 | Echo, keep up the good work. I have been battered and bruised over 20 years of share trading but believe in BVC to the tune of 21k shares. | oakville
02/8/2022 08:03 | Well I'm not sure I claimed to be a scientist, rocket or otherwise, but it would great if some could read my posts a little more carefully before they try to needlessly diminish them or me. I'm not talking about BVC's bottoming out process being in any way driven by the recovery in world markets. I only mentioned the latter because, 1. if the equity rally reverses significantly, it could set our cause back a bit; and 2. it don't hurt if NASDAQ say, is up 10% in such a rapid fashion in helping make buyers on the margin of huge under-performers like BATM, which then helps absorb more quickly what I have really been focusing on, and that's the excess (and what I believe is non-economic) selling out of Israel. And if I'm right and that PARTICULAR selling activity is in fact now showing real signs of easing, then that's the main reason I'm calling the bottom in BVC and by week's end/early next week I think we embark on a well supported recovery phase for the share price which should then set up perfectly for solid interim results and commentary and a significant second phase of that recovery. 50-60p seems a very reasonable target by the end of summer (assuming AGAIN no big correction in the developed markets). Not that anyone asked, but I do think there will be a phase 3 - though it is far more of an educated guess - that will be driven by more aggressive moves by the Company to unlock imbedded value which could well include some of the ideas proffered on this board by various posters, as I think management and shareholders alike are pretty much fed up with the long-term persistent undervaluation in our share price. | echoridge
01/8/2022 16:36 | I would agree with echo that the activity on TASE does appear to be winding down but its not out of the way. I agree with sentiments that we have possibly bottomed out here but BATM is severely underperforming share price wise in spite of rises in the communications sector. Until this BS in Israel stops I cant see us going anywhere. I have now seen 3 analysts reports that say the company is undervalued by 2x to 4X In the current climate I have them at 3x undervalued.WTF Ordinary ShareSymbol : BVCDL Dual-Listed Company Last Rate (0.01 NIS) 141 Change 1.19% Down Turnover 2,043,515 NIS Base: 142.7 Open: 142.7 High: 144.3 Low: | fse
01/8/2022 14:15 | The selling in Israel is still evident. Of course someone has to buy these shares so "someone" has picked up a great deal of shares at a very cheap price. 1158823Ordinary ShareSymbol : BVCDL Dual-Listed Company Last Rate (0.01 NIS) 141.6 Change 0.77% Down Turnover 1,348,799 NIS Base: 142.7 Open: 142.7 High: 144.3 Low: | fse
01/8/2022 12:37 | It's not as though the company is pre revenue or running out of cash or had awful news on production progress. None of the above..the company is not only profitable but cash generative and has a very solid balance sheet. It's performance is difficult to understand relative. Calling a bottom when the rest of the world has bottomed some time ago is not rocket science..but the performance is extremely disappointing. | kooba
01/8/2022 12:33 | With the nasdaq and TSE both up over 10% in the past month not sure its a huge shout to think BATM might edge off the lows..more a question of why have they underperformed on the way down and are underperforming on the bounce back?Nasdaq ytd -21%TA-125 ytd -3%Batm ytd -57% | kooba
01/8/2022 12:05 | I think in general all markets have bottomed out and bargain hunters are entering the market. This IMHO is a bargain.General inflation is probably at it's peak, bar energy. Petrol prices are falling, wheat prices are falling and we should see some overall stability in the next few months.Covid seems to be on the decline, which will help the economy grow. Now is the time for buyers to enter the market... | paulisi
01/8/2022 09:48 | Israeli morning session is a (very) low volume affair thus far, in sharp contrast to yesterday, but the effect on the share price is the same; ie., we're trading in a tight range with no discernible weakness. This may seem a bit pernickety to keep micro-analysing the day's trading, particularly in Israel, but trust me, this is a very important period. Yesterday's trade in Israel, where volume was relatively heavy in the morning and light from late morning to the close and ended with the share price up small, was significant as I reckon the short sellers had another early go but failed as, I believe, substantial buying emerged, and they then backed off considerably. Thus far today of course, there is no sign at all of the aggressive selling out of Tel Aviv we have grown used to but which, for one reason or another, has become far less impactful these past 3/4 sessions anyway. Conclusion: I strongly believe the traders behind the short position in the Israeli line, are beginning to realise that they've got this one wrong, or at least have (way) over-played their hand amid what I believe is an improving demand side for the shares in both jurisdictions. This is causing a steep decline in supply from short sellers, and could even result in a squeeze as some of the legacy shorts start to look to close their position. Again, this is what a bottoming process looks like in my view, and we should see the end of it by Friday/Monday. | echoridge
31/7/2022 16:17 | Bloody thing actually managed to close up on the session at 34.5p equivalent. 2nd steady day in Israel in a row strengthening my view that we are/have bottomed and the share price recovery will begin in earnest by the back end of next week. Furthermore, I think the Company is going to have the kind of positive developments to discuss in the August interims (without any material disappointments) that will turbo charge the share price further. Time to get busy | echoridge
31/7/2022 09:09 | Barely an hour into Sunday's session in TA and we've already traded over 300k shares while, at around 141.5 shekels, the share price there is holding well above the 138.5 shekel equivalent of Friday's UK close of 33.3p. Curious (so far) that the aggressive selling near the very end of Friday's UK trade which closed the share price on its lows isn't being followed (so far) in TA, where much of the selling of the past several weeks has consistently originated. As I continue to maintain a bottoming process is (painfully) playing out and will complete in the next week or so, the price action and trading volume of each individual session takes on increasing importance. | echoridge
29/7/2022 18:56 | God its a struggle.... | oakville
29/7/2022 16:38 | Looks like there's still a big dumper in the house so we just have to hold on to our tin hats and ride it out. True value is at the very least double from here. | cupra kid
28/7/2022 18:30 | Agreed FSE. | james dean
28/7/2022 14:41 | From picsous post #20906 from iii re BATM share price they see a 369% upside. That would put them on @130p which is exactly where ST and my own estimates suggest. BATM are due to release H1 figures soon so maybe we will get some idea as to why the share price is so trashed. | fse
28/7/2022 09:23 | Very quiet. | oakville

27/7/2022 13:10 | guys - I already shared that there are at least 2 decent buyers in the market and they both remain active today. Neither is the Company btw. | echoridge
27/7/2022 12:06 | Agree with gbenson1 , i doubt a buyback. It would likely operate at percentage of vwap so not sit on the bid at a fixed price if it was starting . So guess it is a decent buyer through LSE , seemed to be active yesterday at 34.5p then at 34p..but is certainly finding stock that i think mostly is being arb'ed out of Israel either by holders or shorting.Only thing on the Israel short position is it has to be covered at some point and is already significant against average daily volume. | kooba
27/7/2022 11:35 | This is really being held back for some reason. | oakville
27/7/2022 11:21 | If it is we'll find out tomorrow with an RNS, I don't think it is, someone has been grabbing some cheap stock over the last few days!! | gbenson1 |
