22/4/2021 18:39 | FSE, may i just add that- Arm, a supplier of semiconductor IP, is making a $3 million to $4 million strategic investment in Telco Systems, dually headquartered in Mansfield, Massachusetts and northern Israeli town Yokneam, as part of a joint development agreement. Telco is a subsidiary of London-listed BATM Advanced Communications. | ![]() wizzkid211
22/4/2021 17:11 | A reminder ! This initiative gained traction at the end of last summer. Out With the Old, in With Arm To put this theory to the test, Arm worked with NXP Semiconductors and Telco Systems to develop a proof of concept uCPE appliance running virtual network functions (VNFs) and cloud-native network functions (CNF). “Arm-based uCPEs running cloud-native software stacks can be scaled from four to 32 cores and provide enterprise-grade connectivity services to a broad set of markets,” Ramirez wrote. The proof of concept was rather simple and not all that different from a traditional white-box appliance running on Intel or AMD hardware. But rather than x86 hardware, the appliance leveraged Arm Neoverse-based chips from NXP and VNFs for functions like SD-WAN, firewall, and routing from Telco Systems’ NFVTime platform. The hardware was deployed by Vodafone in small to mid-sized business and enterprise use cases across the U.K. “The Vodafone team successfully deployed and managed VNF and CNF applications running on an efficient 4-core Arm Cortex-A72 processor with a typical power consumption of 35 [watts]. Following this success, on an 8-core Arm processor, they delivered an impressive 15 Gb/s throughput of [internet mix] traffic by offloading [Open vSwitch] to hardware acceleration blocks demonstrating the ability to handle demanding traffic requirements,” wrote Ramirez. “Combined together, these results highlight this solution’s high performance and low carbon footprint.” | ![]() fse
21/4/2021 17:15 | It does "appear" that TASE is controlling LSE prices the tail is wagging the dog now. These have been walked around on some very low volumes plus dealing with an "apparent" large seller in Israel whose sale is hard to accommodate in a low volume market. The annual report is well worth going through as the company has clearly identified Infectious diseases and NFVTime as a field they feel they can dominate or at least be a very major player. The back drop for this in scientific reports/articles would confirm that they are increasingly mentioned as a major player. Telco systems NFVTime and UCPE/white box installation and assimilation should start to pick up pace now as travel restrictions are eased. There is a lot of pent up demand there and BATM in their annual report stressed once again that they expect NVFTime to start contributing to the bottom line. We could well see a heavier news flow from Telco going forwards. I can only say that a good read of the annual report will be good for lowering the blood pressure ;-) or..... you can listen to this | ![]() fse

19/4/2021 16:09 | Good news - just need some details, then the share price might pick up... | ![]() paulisi
19/4/2021 15:42 | Added comment. Just had the chance to go over the year end report and figures in detail also expectations the company has for the future. Anyone with an investment in BATM really should take the time to go over this. There is a lot of detailed specifics. | ![]() fse
19/4/2021 12:26 | The AGM isn't until December; if they wish to pay a dividend sooner, they will have to convene a GM. Hopefully they do. It will provide investors with a strong indication of how the Board views the Company's prospects. | lsoc85
19/4/2021 12:13 | "Dividend The Board of BATM has resolved to recommend the distribution of a dividend for full year 2020. In accordance with Israeli law, a dividend can only be declared following the publication of the audited annual report and accounts. Accordingly, we will provide further details in due course." | lsoc85

19/4/2021 09:53 | 51. Telco Systems Position in edge ecosystem: Edge Cloud Infrastructure, Operating System Notable Achievements in 2020: Telco Systems (provider of intelligent network solutions for SPs) produced a uCPE PoC with NFVTime (platform that integrates virtualized multi-vendor services) demonstrating an orchestrated mix of container and VM-based network functions running on the same platform. With the platform, SPs can package tailored SD-WAN and Firewall solutions to meet diverse enterprise customer needs, with scalable MANO designed to effectively support large scale deployments. Ambitions for 2021: Hopes for full integration of container-based applications together with VNFs, in a single service chain. This would allow implementation of any type of service or application to a single-box communication device. Looking to implement NFVTime platform on Raspberry Pi and Nano Pi based devices, for home-office and IOT applications, as well as the expansion of switching and routing functionality, performance monitoring, and SLA management natively within the OS and management system. stlpartners.com/edge | ![]() wizzkid211
15/4/2021 18:02 | >Jd.... indeed it was a very bullish outlook with so many new products coming to market. Exerpt from that recent report posted by JD above. "BATM said it has begun taking orders for the RT-PCR kit, which is part of subsidiary Adaltis' MOLgen product range, and expects to begin deliveries in April." update: The kits are currently for sale on Adaltis Website heres the link BATM Advanced Communications Ltd @BATMLtd · Apr 13 Panorama - offered by our Zer Laboratories subsidiary - is the only NIPT that also tests for triploidy, a rare but devastating condition. In addition, Zer offers complimentary pre and post-test information sessions with board-certified genetic counsellors. | ![]() fse

14/4/2021 16:19 | Its a funny old world only a few years ago ZVI pulled BATM out of TASE as there was lack of interest (low daily volume) today the story is differnt, in the last few days volume in TASE was greater than London, maybe its time for a rethink, NASDAQ comes to mind... BTW no TASE today. | ![]() wizzkid211
14/4/2021 13:01 | I don't think Zvi would be interested and he is a major shareholder. A split into two companies is more likely. In reality the share price has done well from years of doldrums but I fully agree the potential is not understood by the market and splitting the Telco side to Nasdaq would be sensible. | ![]() doccash
14/4/2021 12:56 | Truth in what you say. But eventually if the company is grossly undervalued for a period of time it will be ripe for a takeover. Assuming major stock holders are keen. | sandy789
14/4/2021 11:58 | Some harsh words there cumnor but not unjustified. I guess the share price is not as important as the actual progress made by the company, and perhaps even somewhat irrelevant? I recall Zwi saying "our shareholders are happy" last year, I guess he's right as far as I am concerned at least! | ![]() picsous
14/4/2021 11:20 | I have no idea why Zvi insists on keeping this company listed in London. The interest and volumes are abysmal, despite very solid progress made on the tech and diagnostic testing fronts. I suspect a complete lack of understanding and empathy for progressive tech companies, esp by UK investment funds, and also perhaps an inherent anti Israeli bias precluding them from getting involved. At least the Yanks, and the Nasdaq are far more receptive on both fronts-they look at the bottom line and prospects only-which explains huge price differentials between tech companies listed there and in London. The City-if you can still call it that-appears to be slowly withering on the vine, and not before time. | ![]() cumnor
12/4/2021 21:57 | Moving towards royalty schemes from subsidiary companies, rather that deal directly with tier 1 companies. Interesting move - there were six tier 1 companies where proof of concept was complete, but only two deals tied up. | ![]() paulisi
12/4/2021 15:12 | Might want to see this .... latest interview with Zvi Here is a link to Albis-elcon website announcing the news from "their" perspective Here is the link to uSphir and its easy to see the reason why they picked Telco to partner with | ![]() fse
12/4/2021 14:56 | Also updated today April 12th. Telco systems advise in reference to the PCCW partnership. "We are also pleased to confirm that @PCCWGlobal has commenced the rollout of NFVTime and we have begun to generate revenue under our three-year licensing agreement" FSE>. The content of the announcements from Telco systems has changed from POC's to confirmation that are starting to achieve revenue. I mentioned this a few days ago post 18390 Its been clear that they are transitioning to the marketing and sales platform. New website with specific product information. Added comment: "Albis-elcon has already started to market uSphir to its customer base of telecoms operators, BATM said." FSE>. There is a critical time line comment here telling us that NFVTime is in the starting phase of deployment and that companies Telco have partnered with are themselves just starting to roll these solutions out. Its another indicator that the "sales' have started. | ![]() fse
12/4/2021 14:15 | Yep - but on low volumes. Approaching bargain time again. Out of interest, I've just received a reply from our MP to whom I wrote highlighting the non-swab, saliva-based sampling and test protocols from 11 March, 2021. They wrote "..I will be sure to raise your comments with my Ministerial colleagues at the next possible opportunity.." In the circumstances, I didn't think a 3-week turnaround was too bad. | ![]() pharmawotsit

12/4/2021 11:41 | In question time, I did suggest to Zvi at the last Results webinar that a NASDAQ listing was likely to be beneficial. Apart from anything else, this followed my (possible mishearing) of Zvi saying that they were looking to acquire one or more US companies. Zvi's reply was that a NASDAQ listing was not on the cards this year. | ![]() pharmawotsit
