The architects of that property crash, Thatcher and Nigel Lawson. Who is a main promoter of brexit, Nigel Lawson from his home in France.

Others would call that "going down with a sinking ship" but like the Costa Concordia Captain its Boris into the lifeboats first followed by Conservative MP's.
Not enough life jackets to go around for the Scots, Irish, Welsh. SORRY.
Jeremy Corbyn will remain in the Garden until its all over with.

People leaving England and settling overseas are those with a few clues and some means and a skill. A lot of them have made reluctant choices but at least they have an option.
Those less fortunate (greater majority) are stuck and there is precious little they can do about it.

A deal with the EU is simply a slow puncture and in many ways worse than no deal.
London will not be able to maintain its financial status as the gateway to Europe which has kept Sterling as a major currency. This in turn will make the currency much more volatile.

I shall probably move back to England as property will become so cheap I shan't be able to afford not to. Anyone remember the 19885/86 property crash, you could not give houses away. Not sure what I am going to eat although I do like Welsh lamb and brussel sprouts.

Yes, most of them leave, because they don't like what the UK has turned into,
but we must REMAIN, you really can't make it up

"England and that's not counting the French. The English that are here are pretty well all "remainers".

Have you ever asked the question why these people left the UK ?

Yes they are re-moaners, because they still have streams of income from the UK
eg. pensions paid in sterling, they sound no better then uneducated ex pats on the
Costa's, who are all suddenly re-moaners, & we all know why they left their inner cities
FSE you live in Canada, BATM is a worldwide company, that will prosper whatever
Boris does, Why do you care ? Any comments on Hong Kong ?

Results on monday for H1 2019.
Not expecting a large revenue increase just yet as a lot of what has been developed in the Telco and Medical divisions is very new and only starting to hit the market place.
What will be interesting is as I said earlier where we see growth from. The company at the present time IMO is undervalued I would have expected a range now between 55p and 65p.

The Boris Johnson & crew clownlike misinformation on Trade is very alarming and could prompt a further Stg collapse. The UK within the EU already has a trade deal with Canada Its called CETA.
" The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement is a free-trade agreement between Canada, the European Union and its member states. It has been provisionally applied, so the treaty has eliminated 98% of the tariffs between Canada and the EU."

If England leaves the EU it will lose this advantage and have to negotiate a new deal which will be a lengthy affair. There is a higher combined Irish and Scots immigrant population in Canada that those from England and thats not counting the French. The English that are here are pretty well all "remainers".

The USA making a rapid deal with the England if they leave Europe touted by Trump and Bolton is plain "BS". In Canada we are used to seeing this nonsense from the USA and Canada still does not have a viable deal to replace NAFTA. Its not an option for England (ex UK) as there would be concessions too unfavourable to contemplate.

Apologies for the Trade rant but from where I sit its having a negative effect on UK holdings and with a looming recession no one needs this action.

Totally agree FSE, I just wondered where the prolonged selling was coming from because it's 20-50k at a time. Expecting results ahead of expectations and we'll see what the Sp does?

There have been repeated efforts to walk this down below the placement price so the above does not surprise me. Good timing though for this tactic ahead of results etc. We should get some decent updates with the results. Most specifically will look for where new sales are being generated from.

Thats true and it is annotated as such but it can be confusing especially when there are property disposals etc. If you strip this sale out of profits then BATM are indicating that they will increase profits from operations from @2M to @3m. You have to consider that if the company were not so involved with bringing these new technologies to market then their profit level would be considerably higher. They are breaking even basically and developing what is becoming a very valuable IP which will in turn generate revenue.
BATM Telco and Medical division are in the final phases to full commercialization.
The company (Telco division) did report a substantial upturn in UCPE and whitebox sales and thats in the vanguard of this new technology. Thats an area that will give us a real idea how well these products are being taken up as its now out there in the marketplace being sold.

Heres a link

"MANSFIELD, MA, October 29, 2018 — Telco Systems, the leading provider of innovative SDN/NFV, CE 2.0, MPLS and IP solutions, today announced that the company is experiencing continued growth in the carrier Ethernet sector with an over 28% year-to-year increase in the shipments of its MEF CE 2.0 compliant devices in North America for the period ending on June 2018. This is the second year in row of shipment growth for these devices as the company previously reported growth of over 20% for the same period in 2017."

>RD....No its both. They have moved into profit.

"As a result, the Group now expects reported profit before tax for full year 2019 to be in the region of $6.2m, which is ahead of market expectations. The underlying trading of BATM remains in-line with current market expectations."

FSE> They are holding their own on the developed parts of the business and will soon be adding revenue stream from the new initiatives.
The funds that were raised are not strictly dilutive as they are using this money to expand and advance the company. ie they did not need the funds to survive or grow it just would have been a slower scenario and with tech ever changing delay is not a good option. All IMO

So this means that the increased revenues previously promised has been achieved by sale of an item, rather than increased trading. I suspect that's why the market has not upgraded the price
