Back in down trend, all those who bought on last spike are now >50% down (if they haven't already bailed)..well done those who took the opportunity of the spike to get out.

$1M should hit the bank account soon, not sure when we are going to get next positive news flow - a farm-out can come at any time.

I remain hopeful and optimistic, but judging from the sinking share price I strongly suspect market is preparing for the usual company's huge dilutive and destructive placing to current shareholders; I do hope they are wrong and the company can pull of the farm-down for cash / carry.

If the current company leadership team mess this one up and go with a placing then my view is they should all be summarily sacked.

Super disappointed. Looks like a placing is coming. LTH here and just gutted that all the positive steps been taken this year we are left in this position. Looks like serious dilution no other explanation with the forward steps that have been achieved.Shafted again, will i ever learn.

Whilst the fun is in other stocks today, I suspect we will see a quiet accumulation.
Last week this was close to double this share price
No brainer.

Excellent posts from some Top posters here (VisitTimor, Dougb, Jarv, filthycure) to name a few. Cannot remember other names but you know who you are.

I doubled my Holding here on Friday taking advantage of the temporary drop from end of week Day traders taking profits. So thank you. Looking to double my holding again next week. This price is a gift with recent developments. More news updates due. Timor-Leste Govt after all these years has finally been hit with the realisation that Chuditch needs to come online first and will be before Sunrise. Chuditch will attract Big Majors back to Timor-Leste.

Valuation wise, using Victory £32m that Shell paid, i am happy with £656m (3.29p) for Chuditch 3500bcf at 75% share which has major upside on top. Shell estimates back then were 5000 bcf.

We can also argue that reduction to 60% could be more than offset from increased resource from the additional leads and area not included in the 3500bcf case rising to e.g 10 TCF as a guide. Will have to wait and see.

There is lots going on in the background. We might equally attract BIG MAJOR in coming weeks or months by transferring lets say another 30% or 40% on a completely FREE Carry basis all the way to First Gas.

OR

Incoming BIG MAJOR might just buy out our full 60% working interest (via SundaGas shares BOIL own) for upfront CASH and become Operator.

Chuditch-2 appraisal well is lot more advanced now compared to 2-3 years ago. So any of above scenario can play out. With upfront CASH received, BOIL can buy up new Oil & Gas assets anywhere OR in North Sea OR even increase Dunrobin share to 100% share plus SPECIAL DIVIDEND paid to shareholders from cash received.

2024 is shaping up to be an exhilarating year for BOIL investors after a decade or so. Do NOT sell out on the cheap is what i would say. Lot of upside yet to come. Thursday was just a trailer before the movie starts. GLA, please DYOR. I done mine.

What do you mean spreading fear?. The shares were trading at 0.090p - 0.10p before the news was released at 10:14 am yesterday. Over 4 billion shares were trading peaking at 0.16p - 0.17p

24 hours later the shares are 20% down back to the pre-news price of 0.090p - 0.10p. In my opinion they are creaming PIs who bought on the excellent news yesterday with a discount placing.

OK its just that I couldn't see a placing after the one in Nov 22. Therefore I suppose its time for another one and that's what's depressing the price. They're probably forward selling billions at 0.080p - 0.10p.

Afraid they do have a bad history of very large discounted and dilutive placings...that's why there are circa 18bln shares in issue....

I am hoping that won't be the case this time, though they need to get the next farm-down away for a good carry / cash position - otherwise how do they afford to pay for the well? Can't see it being debt financed.

Alternatively, and my hope is they just get taken out my one of the majors and we all get put out of our misery.

What's with the big drop back?. They don't appear to have a history of placings though with the volume yesterday I wouldn't rule one out.
