Obtaining the release of the US$3.6 million bond is a major achievement and is due in no small measure to the efforts of our team in Peru and the UK. This will put the Company on a sound financial footing for 2018, with the net cash position expected to be some US$5.2M

Well another year almost draws to an end. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the board for all their hard work and effort put in once again over the last 12 months. congratulations you must be extremely proud. Oh also another big thanks for keeping the share holders informed on what you've been up to over the year.

Many thanks guys - muppets

Another week passes with no news, although given their track record that's perhaps not too surprising. There are just eight more trading days left in 2017 and I think we were promised an update on the SE Asia project before year's end. That we've reached this far without hearing anything, strongly suggests to me that nothing has come of it.

I keep wondering what the major shareholders think of all this. They all got into this for Z34 I presume and yet there hasn't been a huge sell off. Yet. Perhaps they have simply written this off and have completely disassociated from the company.

So when are we going to do something to get these muppets removed rather than just sitting whining about how bad they are until they've taken salaries until its all gone ?

nimbidc,

Why? I'm not concerned about what they, new or old, may or may not have achieved in the past. I'm concerned about my current investment(?) in BOIL and the fact that it has been brought to its knees over the past two to three years. The current board deserve all the current criticism (whether tounge-in-cheek or not) and should expect to continue to receive criticism until they demonstrate that they can produce something which is going to have a positive impact on the company's fortunes. They are all drawing salaries for presiding over what can only be presently described as a complete shambles. They are answerable to the company's shareholders. If they don't like that then they can always resign and seek employment elsewhere.

The share price is hovering just above an all-time low. They have not even had the good grace to purchase even a token amount of shares on the open market which would demonstrate faith in their own abilities and inspire a touch of confidence in their long-suffering shareholders. The fact that they haven't speaks volumes, in my humble opinion, as to where this mess is ultimately heading.

This shower wouldn't be able to find oil in a three-quarters full can of Castrol GTX.

After today there are just twelve trading days left until the end of the year. Does anyone really expect them to come up with anything remotely positive during that time? They have all been a tremendous disappointment since the untimely demise of Mr Berends.

Yes been promising a drill here all year, a deal with Sundagas all year and suggesting a farmout to a major all year on Z34.

Stunning performance, worth every penny!

Not one credible result anywhere but they have until year end.

Tommo41,

It could have been me. I've been twiddling my thumbs for years on this share and I could have hit the wrong button whilst my right thumb was at its lowest point.

Actually my whole being is at it's lowest point. I could have fell on it.

Joking aside, it wasn't me because I don't have the rights with my account.

I don't normally take much notice of the green and red thumb signs but I would like to know if the person who "red-thumbed" my previous post actually thinks that the management of this company should be exempt from criticism for presiding over the shambles which it has become. Perhaps that person might like to elaborate his/her view instead of just clicking on a thumb sign.

I appreciate that feelings are running high and that most of us are heavily down on our investment. I acknowledge that my post was OTT but it was designed to be to put across the deep frustration I feel with this company. It is not right that they are still rewarding themselves with generous salaries while the company's prospects sink ever deeper. And they've already awarded themselves risk-free options in lieu of a previous token pay cut. And none of them have had the bottle/decency/humility (call it what you like) to put any of their own money up to buy shares on the open market at these all-time low prices in order to exhibit some solidarity and faith in their own abilities.

It's a bloody mess. Perhaps the person who red-thumbed me might like to explain why I'm so wrong and why this management should be allowed to continue. I'm very willing to listen and be persuaded otherwise.

It was nothing more that a large holder selling their stake. Load up high value sell orders onto order book, pump the price and wait for it to fill the sell orders. That's why it wasn't possible to sell volume anywhere near the peak, because they fill the orders that have been on the book the longest. So obvious but people just don't want it to be true.
