From 16th June 2016 RNS "Woodburn Forest-1 Well - Completion of Drilling"

"Commenting, Bill Colvin, Chairman & CEO of Baron, said:

"We are disappointed not to encounter hydrocarbons in this location but valuable information was gathered on the regional geology while drilling the well which will now be evaluated. ...."

....

Evaluated!

Today's date: 16th August 2016 and I am still waiting for an update (!!!)

Please give them more time! LOL

Actually Tommo41 I was having a laugh.

I have been involved since July 2004, just three months after the company floated.

I am as pi55ed off as everyone else. But we do still need to be patient. We need money from UOG and IslandMagee before we can invest very much elsewhere.

I think the consensus is we are all losing /lost patience here (most if not all of us regular posters sat on significant averaged down loses) and are rightly p*ssed off with Board taking a good wage for really zip in return (NI was an exception but that was really a risky well which failed and the storage and our cash seems to be off radar).

There could I suppose be so may company transformational deals in progress that the Board are in a constant closed period so can't buy any shares..... just fell off my chair laughing!

How many years has it been since these were 4p?

From that time to this, those still holding here (me included) are probably deluded. Mindset is that the loss on paper to date is far greater then the loss between .04p and nothing.

I am appalled at myself.

nlmbidc,

Patience? Are you having a laugh? How much time do you want me to give them? Is eight years not long enough? These clowns are drawing a decent salary and are just apparently happy to do next to nothing and preside over a very low, stagnant share price. Am I expected to wait another eight years for anything decent to happen here? Even if and when that time comes, there is no chance of the likes of valentine, with his 4p average, of ever getting his money back. If there was even the remotest chance of the share price getting back to around 1.5p from here then the directors would be filling their boots. The fact that they're not prepared to buy even a token amount says it all, IMHO.

97k @ 0.050p Wow.. £450.00 or close. They say trade volume tells you everything. In this case hardly worth the effort. A gamble by someone looking for it to turn I to a few grand. Me I need 4p plus to get to evens. I don't wanna think about it.

Positive news for Island Magee nlmbidc

Now get it sold to BP for £60m, get the cash out and then buy some onshore low b/e production revenue with upside

Cheers

Clock been ticking for some time now!

and give Union and shove in the right direction also

If they take a stake in infa for the money invested then we've been misled. Why you have to ask. I'll be dead before we see a result there. As it is I am lucky to be posting since Gary Moore convinced they were on a winner in blue oar offices.. what I could do with all the money spent here. Just another et of directors telling g us they'll make our fortune. Any money they're taking is subterfuge under false pretences.

Sorry to seem obtuse but where is the evidence of current fat cat salaries/emoluments being thrown away by the company?

Perhaps Pembury or Valentine or someone else come to that might enlighten me.

Maybe they don't need the money? No one increasing holding anymore either. Bar me, of course. The parvezi's are betting on you buying boil out imo. We become some calor gas supplier in NI. Can't anything before 10/9 and the St Leger start.

With the bod holding so few shares it is difficult to argue otherwise, however I can't imagine the main Shareholders in Boil will be happy to sit back and watch them draw such salaries without delivery and the clock has gone well past the ticking stage. If the current management don't come up with something soon then perhaps a change is needed?. There should be strong professional takers for that amount of remuneration and freedom in the role, in South America money goes a very long way also.

You get the freedom but we get to see the RNS's which tells us everything being achieved or not as the case is proving to be.

Think the management age about 70, motivated?.
No real interest from the bod with a stock price of 0.4p says it all.

Yes, it's all got rather tedious now...it's the same old bull from the company, failure after failure, missed promises on Peru drilling and directors spending the limited cash pot on very healthy salaries.

Given my exposure I have to live in hope.... no point selling now, just holding out to the bitter end when this either folds or we have a major change in fortune with director's extracting their thumbs from their backsides to do something that reflect any sort of justification of the salary they are cashing each month.

Despondent........

Until they appoint a Spanish speaking director with experience of the sth American market, as per dear departed RB, we are looking like we are going g down the infa route and Peru will be gives off, sold, or disposed of to someone who knows the Latino ropes. I am a little despondent presently. Get Julian Garcia back..or someone like him. It is just wage drawing games and distractions now. The gas storage idea might work but when? How many years? Peru is ready to go with iediately saleable gas production in Piura.
