CS has shed 25% and now sits at the same rsi as Barc

Barc was at 193 and now down to 138 which is circa -28% ... Crazy for a profit making bank

Been out for the day and see barc has gone for the yoyo approach ..... what a mess and it was only a month ago that barc was declaring billions of profit !! I guess we have to ask if the Swiss NB and government will allow CS to fail .... i would like to think not but time will tell.

Barc shored up their finances with huge buffers ... so why are we being taken so low ... sub 20 again on the rsi.

Absolute carnage. Reminds of when the Ukraine war started.

These are the rotten foundations upon which Hunt wants to build his house of optimism. “Gas prices remain more than twice their pre-pandemic level,” the OBR says, “which, when added to the stagnation in business investment since 2016, the recent rise in labour market inactivity, and the slowdown in productivity growth since the financial crisis, means that there remains weak underlying momentum.”

Hunt put the best possible face on a terrible situation today. But his smile is nervous and tentative. When it breaks, you can see his private recognition of the disaster we face. Some of that is, as Hunt likes to insist, a result of external factors. But much of it is to do with the decisions his party has taken and the ones it has not

Waddy, it was here I heard

Robert Kiyosaki, who accurately predicted the 2008 Lehman Brothers’ collapse, warned that Credit Suisse could be at risk as the volatile bond market crashes, with rising interest causing bonds to fall in price.

As for the wholesale dumping, I don't believe this is a crisis. If it was FTSE would have been cut in half. this is weak holders, and leveraged holders being screwed over.

I reacon the US will release some info today to stabilise the market, resulting in a nice bounce to the DOW, and Barc and other banks opening up a nice chunk in the morning

I’m buying as well. It looks cheap until we’re suddenly in the low 120’s. You have to stick your flag in the sand somewhere though and then hold.

Give me a market with no floor. Hades is upon us. We have not have a massive puke on the close for awhile. I am talking when people start getting scared. And that is only the beginning going into the next stage aka #stage3 people still have no idea how bad this is going to get.
