Hangman - I understand that the racecourse was bought by somebody from the middle east, but I don't know who. Yes admission is still free most of the time, except for special events. I beleive it's £10 on Friday, because it's ladies night.

I will never get this investing right,I expected a sharp fall today with the euro/Germany and reading the front page of the Times.

Thanks for the input on my doors.

Ken as I said i lived in Northampton for over 50 years, playing golf with the Barclaycard boys weekly, and was a frequent visitor at the races.
Towcester races/ a few hundred acres and a village went up for sale a year or so back for i believe around £65 million.------Word has it a person from this bb purchased it after a good weeks trading.
Are the races still free to enter ?
I now reside in Dorset

Bob - I don't normally criticise your posts, but it's obvious you're not a involved in the building industry and you've just got to be joking.

Hi Hangman, where have you been, I don't think you have been on this tread for about a year.

The doors, I find nearly half a day to hang each door very excessive, if you are doing 15 one after another. You should get into a rhythm, after a couple, to an hour a door.

Were you or someone around to see if they/him was actually working most of the day?

Had you used them/him before with reasonable costs before?

Have you a multi million pound house that requires real perfection in workmanship?

What will Barclays drop to in this present re-trace?

well hung,
How much would your carpenter charge for a gibbet ?
There are a few fellow posters who have been hanging around here for too long (I would like to see them hanging around elsewhere).

£87 million up yesterday.
