17/4/2020 09:30 | I note there's no word from your paymasters in Germany!..Wait until the bills come in for Italy, Greece, and the weak states of the disaster of the EU. Then when January comes around and we are totally free of the EU with no deal you will be having to pay Billions of euros to support Ireland because they will be collapsing fast. When I say you will be paying it won't be Spain of course it will be Germany, Holland, France and the few other sucker states that pay in more than they receive. Spain of course effectively leeches off of these countries, so you won't be paying. That is until the EU budget is reorganised to take account of the loss of our U.K. contribution, the second biggest in the Eu. Good luck and you keep on believing, until reality hits you.. | johnwise

17/4/2020 09:18 | The UN and EU generally like to portray UK as a poverty stricken sickness ravaged remnant of colonialism... UK Standard of living is maintained by debt. As we are so poor and beyond hope we should stop our 12 billion foreign aid budget. UK National Debt Surpassed £1 Trillion | johnwise

Put £80k in on banks yesterday and sold first thing with 5% profit. Now laughing again with subsequent slight falls. As said before there’s no way I’m going in big and when I do only max 2days. Remember guys this market is built on pillars of salt and pillars of sand and when it goes you’re all fkd. And that’s when I step in. | smartie6

17/4/2020 09:01 | Boris is the handshaking that contracted COVID-19 and has now left a power vacuum at the top of Government for several weeks just when he's needed most, coupled with a botched and mismanaged strategy, yet some of you actually think the government are doing a good job? Lockdown far too late, lack of PPE, lack of testing, lack of plain common sense. This country and government has let the British people down badly. They put themselves up for these jobs, but they are woefully inadequate. | johnwise

17/4/2020 09:00 | I bought in here yesterday for Mrs wllmerk's ISA. At 87p, if one takes an 18-24 month time frame, these are a bargain, they are not alone though, there are many buying opps around at the moment, large cap, blue chip stocks. My only worry is the regulator getting involved again regarding the big banks paying dividends to shareholders, worth the risk IMO. wllm | wllmherk

17/4/2020 08:54 | TOKYO - 'Made In China' Japanese goods may be the latest casualty of the coronavirus pandemic, as Prime Minister Shinzo Abe resolves to wean firms off their dependence on China. To help them do it, Mr Abe has earmarked about 240 billion yen (S$3.2 billion) to support domestic companies in decoupling their supply chains from China, especially those in high value-added manufacturing. | johnwise |
