sold out today in chunks bewteen 176 and 173p.
don't want to be in on monday.
might return to barc if the share price takes a breather.

Ozzmosiz: good for you, so do I from January's low in the ISA - nest egg for the future, and hopefully not too distant either.

I'm out on the trading front, as I posted before, may be right or may be wrong, but a correction to form the 'w' does seem most likely imo.

Gordon Brown (#19601): I note you've removed your expectation of closing price of 175p and replaced it with "Dow goes up when we close". Sadly a case of blatant disingenuity imo.

If you're still holding perhaps you're the only one considering the quiteness that has descended here ;->

I hope your right Gordonbrown, I made a killing on Corus shares going back a few years ago, invested most of my profits from them into Barclays, would be delighted if they shot up aswell.

I sold out earlier and put my moolah into the XUKS ftse short when it was about -20 pts. Agreed with mani, I bet a lot of people are thinking the same, what is going to spark another dive though?

dodd5y it is most likely to come after our market closes, and yes this is my own take (if fact then the media would be reporting!) however CVC Capital Partners announced the appointment of Kamil Salame.

The fact the DOW has retreated on profit taking and yet Barclays is still holding says it all, there will be news and ones that sold will probably count missed profits.

Gordonbrown you state all the time of the ishares news coming, then it doesnt, I believe you said yestarday it was coming this morning, are these just gueses by yourself as it aint happened yet and no sign it will happen monday?

would not be surprised to see a leg up in the final hour to level with BCS

with ishare news probably coming this weekend we could see a major jump on Monday' opening.
