ken why do you think brits are told you must take out health cover travelling in the eu if you do not know the answer I will give it to you .

because you will be in danger . but all eu migrants immigrants get it all free free free no questions asked because this and ever mp will not fix the issue as it does not affect them they use their positions

Which countries are covered by my EHIC? KEN by name only only for small matters not life threating they want you home ,

I have seen this many times in my street two families back home they spent 20 years in spain could get no cover alas over 70

if you want the uk in the eu get the rules to cover all for all
but alas you will never send any letters just except the bad rules I am lucky even in the uk I pay to go private in the last 5 years have paid out 28 k

The EHIC card will not guarantee you medical treatment, it's a fallacy.

The only card that will see you through is a credit card.

The European Health Insurance Card sounds like it simply applies to Europe, but it’s actually more complicated than that. So it’s wise to check whether you will be covered for free or reduced cost medical care in the country you are travelling to before you set off.

Essentially, the European health insurance card covers you for the equivalent treatment that the local people receive in the European Economic Area, as well as Switzerland. That means that if they receive free treatment, you will too, and if not then you will be charged the equivalent cost. EHIC rule changes in 2014 mean you can no longer reclaim charges for ‘co-payment’, so bear this in mind when planning your trip.

When you present your EU health card, you should immediately gain access to the best emergency care the country can offer. It’s a guarantee that you are entitled to healthcare in the UK, and with the reciprocal agreement in place with the UK, that is enough to get you taken care of in your time of need.

I would sooner be poorer than allow the stinking rotten eu make rules telling the uk they must give all migrants all the uk benefits , but brits can get nothing in the eu . its unfair our children can not work in the eu because they have to buy health cover were as the eu migrants get it free , and do not say they do because they do not, I have spent months in the eu when you need a doctor in spain he wants money or will not come you go to the hospital and they will give you a few pills or take insurance policy , then say go back home and see your doctor as we can not help you if you need more treatment all fact unless you are a gov employee who pulls strings
