Increasing regulation, increasing capital requirements, increasing excuses fines (aka tax) is all leading to stifling growth and lame share price!!

Some lateral thinking! As it all seems to remain within the same group probably very unlikely to succeed.

UK retail banks that have been 'ring-fenced' from the investment banking operations of the same banking group will still be able to cross-sell products and act as an agent for those parts of the business, provided that they do so on "arms-length terms"

Probably not unless they want to expand 'Wealth Management' and reduce 'Investment Banking'.

I expect it has to do with the PRA announcing the additional Capital requirements needed to meet ringfencing due in 2019. Shortfall across 5 banks is between £2.2bn and £3.3bn and so probably rather lower than was anticipated (feared).

Porty lost his money. You can find him in his local job centre. He is also pursuing English classes. Hopefully we will see him back with better grammar and some money.

The reality is that record-high stock market valuations have been driven by "printing press".. This Ponzi-party cannot last forever, however It may continue for while, but I can hear someone shouting “last call.”

And trust me, change happens quickly once beliefs shift....
