12/12/2017 10:45 | Yeah a tip in IC is a sell signal in my cynical experience too sadly | spawny100
12/12/2017 10:31 | Blinkin IC - every time I own a share and they tip it, it drops. Not unduly worried but it's happened 5-6 times in recent months so a tad annoying | davr0s
12/12/2017 10:07 | Share price not doing what I'd been expecting. Pretty much back on the long term upward trend line so should be good for a bounce soon if all is well. | spawny100
11/12/2017 21:40 | Spawny, are you telling me now I'm invested in some sort of payment system? And I was looking forward to getting rich quickly.......... | hew
10/12/2017 11:16 | Interesting article | spawny100
10/12/2017 10:21 | Been researching and found that there are many other companies offering dcb platforms - a few examples are Megacyst, Centili, HiPay, Intigral, Fortumo (and of course Boku who recently listed here). Are people confident that Bangos platform is as good, or better, than all these others and is gaining traction in new markets at least as quickly? Another point it seems (as I have mentioned before) that Google Play have their own API for inapp purchases. Am I right in thinking that Google Play are using Bango in some markets? If so then BANGOS system must be better in some way? Perhaps Google will look to take them out before they get too big? Certainly if they expand into dcb payment for web context like chunks of text then they will be competing for Googles ad revenue as well. Interesting times. | spawny100
10/12/2017 03:25 | I hear by my friend in Mexico about BGO.L has some DCB with NETFLIX or maybe iFLIX - ANY KNOW HERE? Not on www.bango.com at this moment | haozhen
09/12/2017 19:14 | Charts looking good for a big pop upwards to 300-350 to me | spawny100
09/12/2017 14:58 | Just been researching micro/nanopayments a little lately because of all the excitement and hype around satoshipay recently. I'm of the view that Bango already have a platform that can cater for this market. Hoping they are looking to push into this market. They already have many of the very biggest guns on board that recent startups can only dream of. I've emailed Ray to ask about any developments in this area. | spawny100
07/12/2017 20:02 | Not sure if anybody researched the MTN Group in Africa featured in Episode 2 of the MEF feature on carrier billing with Herman Singh MTN Chief Digital Officer talking about working with Bango MTN Group only have 232 million subscribers across its operations with 62.5 million in Nigeria | lentjes
06/12/2017 16:54 | Thanks sc. Yes I was wondering that too actually as Anderson has stressed the ability of the Bango platform to incorporate many differing types of payment. I'm sure he is watching cryptos with interest with a view to this in the future..... | spawny100
06/12/2017 16:49 | I don't think these will be a competing payment method for a long long time if ever, but at some point the bango platform might actually cater for cryptos and micro payments and be a beneficiary rather than a competitor. | smallcapinvestor1
06/12/2017 14:30 | Anyone have any opinion on satoshipay/cryptos as a potential competitor to Bango/dcb? It looks to me like Bango are an established tried and tested method but will have more and more competition from the likes of the above setup as they become more taken up and widespread. I hold both so it's not a deramp. I don't see Bango losing their edge overnight for sure. | spawny100
06/12/2017 14:23 | Episode 2 Lots of people in Africa want to pay they just need a method. DCB & wallets the way forward hxxps://mobileecosys | lentjes
06/12/2017 11:02 | egrid1 Thanks for the article and interesting reading. In relation to 50% of all online payments in Japan going via DCB if this is correct I dare not think of what % is passing through the Bango platform. 5 weeks to go until we get an indication | lentjes
06/12/2017 10:22 | I am not sure if anyone has linked to the following article: In particular, recognising that Amazon in Japan has opened up to DCB in recent months, and Bango are providing the DCB service - the following stood out: In Japan DCB – now accounts for 50% of all online purchases. I don't recall seeing that figure before. I was aware DCB was popular in Japan, and that Bangos tie up was with carriers that hold approximately 75% of market share in Japan... but I am not sure I have seen previously a figure to suggest that 50% of online ecommerce goes through DCB. | egrid1
06/12/2017 09:24 | Trading update is normally 2nd week January. PSD2 comes into force on 13th Jan so we may also get some news on how Bango will benefit and what deals have been done or planned in the trading update | lentjes
06/12/2017 09:06 | Is there a date for the next trading announcement/update? January 18? | nimrod22
06/12/2017 07:24 | Maybe BANGO have their mucky paw prints all over this one. Nothing to say they have but just shows how DCB and IoTs can develope together | lentjes
