29/10/2015 06:43 | Seems odd that end user spend is relatively low for Bango compared to market share of 40%. End user spend for whole market is over 1 billion usd expected to grow to 12 billion by 2019 for carrier billing. Bango at less than 100 million which is less than 10%. Anyway if it grows to 40% of 20 billion and margin is 2% then heading towards 100 million GP so the potential could be enormous. I wonder if the link up with Amazon could extend to other items than Apps. Exciting times if my understanding is correct, do your own research though as I might be way off track. | amt

15/10/2015 14:51 | TechMarketView: Bango confident about growth, but… After publishing interim results a month ago, see Bango requires more patience, this provider of Direct Carrier Billing services for App Stores and digital content providers has published a quick update about faster than expected growth in emerging markets. At the half year stage the company indicated that end user spend, up 72% at the six-month stage, remained on track to show at least a doubling for the full year. Revenue figures will however continue to be affected by Sterling’s strength. Today the company issues a reminder that trading is going well, stating that the higher levels of end user spend through Google Play in Mexico and South Africa and the momentum of other new billing relationships are acting to push estimates for 2016 higher. Bango has kept costs under control, having capacity in place for significantly higher transaction volumes and also managing to eke out some efficiency savings. Nevertheless, the company is still in the red in both profit and cash flow terms. Another concern is that the gross margin on end-user activity fell from 2.6% to 2.1% during the first half, testing the bottom of the target range of 2-5%. The revenue line is now almost entirely reliant on this margin on end-user spend, Bango having moved away from taking up-front fees. Today’s re-affirmation of growth in revenue is welcome, but probably not sufficient to spark a major upturn in the company’s financials. A more favourable trend in gross margin would also be helpful. Bango has carved a strong position in this niche of the global payments market, but it looks as if it will still test the patience of interested observers. | aishah
15/10/2015 13:46 | No EUS was predicted to close year at 65 m annualized, already at 60m so probably 70m or more by ye. | amt
15/10/2015 09:49 | In the last results they said: "-- Despite strengthening GBP, Bango remains on track to meet EUS growth expectations of at least 100% from December 2014 to December 2015" Now they say: " Entering Q4 2015, End User Spend through the Bango platform has grown to an annualised rate exceeding GBP60M (USD $92M), 98% higher than the equivalent rate 12 months earlier." Are they now forecasting a small decrease in EUS? | aishah
15/10/2015 08:48 | Still expect they will need a couple of million next year but should be from strength so at much higher share price. On schedule for 300 m annualised in 2017 and break even. It's all a question now of how big this can get. Not sure if end user spend could grow to billions or not. Anyone got an idea? | amt
15/10/2015 07:47 | Some very good news as expected. How long I wonder before the potential of this company is realised. The company has lost 20% of its value over the last month on sales of about 100,000 shares, lets hope the reverse will happen. | fitton

18/9/2015 09:13 | I thought the EUS for the period were a little disappointing but they appear confident in reaching their year end target and with £54.8m EUS annualized run rate entering September 2015 momentum building for sure. However I found the most interesting statement as follows Product development and the platform effect Bango Grid is now in use with three major app stores and has been shown to a new major app store prospect ???? I wonder who the new major app store could be ? I thought we had signed all the major App stores up apart from Apple who don't do DCB ??? | lentjes
16/9/2015 08:55 | I suspect they might need a couple of million more in cash to get to breakeven. However on current trends I would think end user income for 2017 could be getting towards 200 to 300 m gm of 4 to 6 m which should see breakeven. After that on current capacity perhaps a billion with gm of 20 m and net profit of at least 12 m. Good to play with the numbers but gives an idea of the potential not sure what the total market is though, is it multi billions or a couple of billion? | amt
28/7/2015 08:32 | “In addition to the progress made in Asia already this year, we are working with operators in Vietnam, India, Bangladesh and Japan to deploy the Bango Platform in these markets.” Interesting article. Working with operators in India and Japan. These would really be game changers. | fitton
25/6/2015 13:57 | Bango boosts carrier billing availability across the world - App Stores now offering carrier billed payments to tens of millions of new customers through the Bango Platform Cambridge, June 25, 2015. Bango (AIM: BGO), the mobile payment leader, has recently launched carrier billing routes for its app store partners in several additional markets, underlining the role of the Bango Payment Platform at the heart of the growing global app store economy. | aishah
17/6/2015 13:08 | It's taken time but end user spend has started to move upwards in a meaningful manor i think this projection of £65 million end user spend by the end of this year might be on the underside. | hamidahamida
28/5/2015 07:01 | End user spend of 200m or so for breakeven I would have thought. A billion in end user spend could perhaps give net profit of say 20 m on pe of 30 that's 600m market cap. So ten bagger but 5 years away and have to do it without further funding. Did anyone go to AGM? | amt
27/5/2015 12:30 | I really can't be bothered to involve myself in this rubbish .With reference to the shares in issue and market cap take a look at Gate Ventures. The use of the word ramping is usually used by people that have no idea about the way the stock market works. One person making a few comments about a company on a bill board makes not one jot of difference.I will explain again. If Bango achieve an end user spend of £650m not £65m then you could be looking at a market cap of £500m.This is pure speculation and nothing else based on a limited number of shares held in public hands rather than by institutions.Institu | fitton
27/5/2015 12:11 | Judging by your previous posts such as "If the shares in issue are still only about 52m then it is feasible that you could be looking at a company valuation of in excess of £500m." (Shares in issue has nothing to do with a market cap, could affect the share price) I think I have every right to assume you are just ramping for the sake of it. If not then apologies but I don't I'm not so sure | charlieej
27/5/2015 12:03 | charliee jz. When did you get your single brain cell. Have you every heard of a word called sarcasm. How about me explain it to you. "Buyers piling in this morning!!". Just in case your single brain cell can't understand. When there was 1 trade I made the statement as follows. "Buyers piling in this morning!!". Do you get it, 1 trade = not really lots of buyers piling in = sarcasm. Also jz, why do I need a ramp, its not a garage its a bill board. You fu*kwit | fitton
27/5/2015 11:24 | Fitton are you a complete fu*kwit or just not out of nappies yet. Look at the time of my post... At that time there were 6 trades showing. One was from last night which equals five if that's too complex for you I'll draw a diagram.. Just let me know. On top of that more of the trades were sells however on volume there is more buying than selling but it's so marginal only a fool would try to ramp off the back of it | charlieej
27/5/2015 10:59 | charlieej. Well done on you accurate statement on the total trades today. I must have missed the other 4 trades. You must be a very serious person. How about you contribute something to the board to add to the overall excitement. | fitton
27/5/2015 09:32 | There have been a total of 5 trades. Wait till you have something useful to say. | charlieej |
