It will be interesting to see if any of the BGO BoD pile into this once the results are released in the next 2 weeks and they are out of the closed period |
Yet another report. I do wonder if they are doing a lot of work researching and helping the competition |
That's a shame, my buy order of 12500 shares at 79.88 was not filled :-( |
Thanks for link, very interesting to see the others people at the sharp end. They all came over well. |
Just spotted on LinkedIN - BGO.L at Mobile World Conference: |
My average here is 190p - so one of my worst ever investments. Can't see a bid though, 25% are held by insiders (inc NHN) so chances of success are minimal. What they need is a complete clear out and a refocus on making a profitable company with predictable revenues. Of course a clear out won't happen as there are too many happy to take the money and screw the shareholder base. |
Would be happy with Boku paper. Should get their heads together. |
AIM shares are incredibly cheap. 90% are rubbish but there are Jewels amongst them. ITM power is valued at less than cash so fifteen years of work to produce World leading patented Hydrogen generators which are selling for millions is valued at nothing. |
Boku has more cash than Bangos market cap. I reckon Boku could cut at least 15m out of overheads so give additional ebitda of 30m. If they paid 3 times the current share price they would get their money back in 6 years even with minimal growth. They could sell off subscriptions business if they didn't see much of a future for that. I am very tempted to buy back my holding 50% I sold at 1.08p not long ago. My existing holding was bought at about 1.70p so deep in loss |
I have been saying that it would be an ideal target for Boku. However nothing ever happens |
Must be a take over target at this price |
west Elk Capital added to their holdings on 03.03.25..
So presumably they'd have had a brief chat with management prior to doing this..
unfortunately BGO has just been sucked into the " Generic Selloff"...And once we have some kind of update should once again start to gain traction.
But wtfdik. |
I think there is a lot of IP plus all the Carrier billing networks must be worth a lot. |
Problem is if they don't say how they are doing or what there expectations are, then the assumption is it will continue to disappoint.
In the last TU they gave a figure for adjusted EBITDA. That could be mean anything
You'd hope a bigger EBITDA would lead to the company being more profitable but that didn't happen in last years results (vs previous year). In fact it was much worse. So what to expect of the increased EBITDA this time around? The only clue to go on is debt which at least gives some sort of snapshot though that can be affected by the timing of various payments. That indicates they were cash positive $3.4m over the previous 6 months.
$6.8m over a year - c£10m moderate PE of 7-8 for a company that never delivers and unfortunately its still overvalued. Obviously thats just a 30sec calculation. But they have had many chances to deliver and/or communicate, but just haven't. |
Don't get me wrong, I own a large chunk of this company, so I'm long, very underwater and frustrated at a company that should be doing better. |
Mkt Cap now £60mNet assets £60m includes £40m right of use assets (software)Net debt of a few millionAccumulated losses of £70mThere isn't much of tangible value backing up the market cap - they BOD need to start communicating a profitable strategy or they'll be at 30p with only themselves to blame. |
One of them was wrong as they differed on the treatment of some one-off costs, so at least one was wrong on its projections of future earnings I think. |
I don't think its that bad. We don't know if the broker forecasts were wrong. V disappointing yes but even on those Bango looks dirt cheap on a one or two year view. |
The poor and incorrect broker forecasts have put off the retail shareholders and they are selling up relentlessly. The share is so illiquid that it's going down to NAV as the company and brokers can't prove they will ever make a profit. I've said for a while, this can goto a valuation of £30m as that was the last reported net asset number and that's not cash or tangible assets, it's all intangible worthless stuff! So It could go below NAV unless the company starts to communicate a LOT better about the future and wanting to be a for profit company. |
At this meagre price, the only acquisition will be that of Bango. |
just general tech sector repricing..... to the same valuation metrics as the other sectors |
Very strange share price action. Are they going to raise funds. Is there an acquisition being negotiated ? |
Unless they are going to delay we should get notice of results this week at which point the BoD need to explain themselves |
Oh well never liked the idea of a pension. At least Barcelona must have been fun. |
