30/1/2018 10:17 | It is very simple. Slide 6 of the presentation is titled "The Market Opportunity". Point 1 - "Smartphones take online commerce to 7 billion humans" It is not Bango contacting these 7 billion humans - it is the number estimated to have a smartphone. As a smartphone user it is an opportunity to Bango. The world population maybe 7.5 billion (the graph shows it as 8 billion) - but that includes babies and babies don't have smartphones, hence the difference between world population and smartphone humans. | stentorian
30/1/2018 09:45 | HEY YOU SAY: I see in the slides that they are in contact with 7 billion humans. Are they in contact with anybody else? I THINK THAT IS TEH MEANING _ GADGETS | haozhen

29/1/2018 10:30 | I asked Bango for access to the strategy day slides. They are here: Apologies if the hyperlink needs editing, I haven't figured that out. | leading
27/1/2018 17:37 | Not sure that he stated end of 2017 for the 300p. His comments on 29th August 2017 were; "In fact, with the exit run-rate of end-user spend processed through Bango’s payment platform hitting £300m at the end of June, up from £195m at the start of the year and well on the way towards analysts' year-end exit run-rate of £352m, the likelihood of Bango achieving run-rate break-even in the fourth quarter is well underpinned. I maintain my 300p target price and rate Bango’s shares a buy". For those who have sold out at around 260p top, there now appears to be another bite at the cherry on the next run up in share price. Simon T does get things wrong, there's been a few, who doesn't, Warren Buffet buying into Tesco's etc. There's money to be made here in BGO either buying now on the dip, maybe holding longer term, or just catching the ride up and down with some buying and selling despite directors taking a few liberties en-route with cheap buy-in prices. Let the dice roll and have some fun.... | nimrod22
27/1/2018 14:53 | Is this the same Simon Thompson that forecast 300p target by end of 2017? | simplesimon1
27/1/2018 14:48 | He would, but he is no less in the dark than everyone else holding this stock, it has a superlative rating on the basis of increasing the volume of business through its platform, but what exactly are they generating in revenue and is it showing a material improvement to warrant such valuation. | bookbroker
27/1/2018 11:16 | Don't panic folks! Simon Thompson is still positive and now rates them a buy at 200p. Just 2 days after he rated them a buy at 217p... ;-) | zimbtrader

26/1/2018 23:37 | By the time of “the strategy update” the market for Bango had already gone bang. The investors who backed the company going into last years growth period and who paid the salaries got burned really bad. Anderson and Malhotranot did well and I guess that is what counts. | simplesimon1
26/1/2018 12:24 | You clearly out of your depth.You need therapy. | j777j
26/1/2018 11:39 | Pretty clear none bothered to attend the strategy update..... | slicethepie
26/1/2018 11:13 | Extraordinary tantrums and hissy fits on here. Can only guess from short term punters playing with borrowed money. The more cash the co has is better for all investors. Buy tantrums and sell the euphoria. Co is in an interesting space at an interesting time. | j777j |
