I have always thought buybacks favour directors more than shareholders Crazi extra eps and sell it to PIs as a bonus. Personally give me a div, at least i get to choose where it goes. IMO buybacks shoud be illegal. Of course the fund managment industry are silent on the issue less they get scrutiny as well for voting for it. GLA!

Well the buyback programme brought absolutely ZERO benefit to shareholders as the share price is lower now than before it started. Excellent results. Dividend re-instated.

Why the price is so low at 260ish...

Inflation making the markets nervous of banks but ultimately the additional incomes from rising interest rates will outperform any additional defaults... imho

CEO is to step down and a search for a replacement is underway.

They intend to buy back the minority holding in Getnet that was floated last year, as it has gone to a discount.

If i understand correctly market is worried about cost in Latin America going up even management is trying to reduce expense ratio.

I am baffled by todays selling pressure.

Q1 earnings 14.1c and a 13%+ rote for the rest of the year should equal around 55c full year earnings, against broker forecasts of 49c. Dividend as expected.

What am i missing?
