04/3/2018 15:35 | given the setup btc should be pulling away here. so far it appears that bear traps have been taking it higher without the bulls actually doing anything. maybe this is still early stages - we'll see i guess. still long. being sunday (and friday didn't drop much) will we see a drop of some sort? | mcbeanburger
04/3/2018 14:31 | tptb would love to shut btc down. all it will do is invoke greshams law, and enhance it's value. great mining environment atm ... the diff has been falling on many coins, with price (and spot diff is far more volatile than price, which is great for mining, but it requires work .... I'm scripting the logic so I can leave it unattended :) | random
04/3/2018 11:52 | chesnuts - a fair proportion on this thread are short, others trade whichever way the chart goes, some are miners. My hypothesis is short to zero, but that isn't a trading strategy, one has to respect the chart. Also most obviously IMO not all coins are equal so money can be compounded by riding multiple coins down. | hpcg
04/3/2018 10:36 | What you all miss on this thread is the powers can switch BTC off in a moment, so what use is BTC, and when the big boys have had enough thats what will happen, and your btc will be worthless. | chestnuts
04/3/2018 10:22 | channel, up or down - that is the question state of Denmark | kaos3
04/3/2018 10:20 | Alts going nowhere until btc regains the major uptrend. I suspect it will make a first atttempt in the next 24hrs. If it fails at the recent high of 11800 then the rising wedge could lead to another pullback to 10200. Which would be a great long entry. Of course if it breaks out above then expect a quick, high volume move to 13k | suffersnofools
04/3/2018 10:16 | Just more FUD from those that have most to lose. The banks and governments are doing whatever they can to undermine bitcoin while simultaneously trying to establish their own crypto! Of course entirely missing the point that's it's the decentralised nature that is key to its success. The whole intrinsic value is also nonsense, what is fiat in a world where central banks just continually print more of it? Also speak to anyone who has to pay the mining electric bill. | suffersnofools
04/3/2018 10:01 | Alt coins are less inclined to join in, and bitcoin keeps meeting resistance to buying even though the daily chart looks positive in terms of higher lows and price relative to moving averages. Difficult to call. | hpcg
03/3/2018 23:34 | Maybe the governments of the world have sucked in all the drug money and now they are going to burn it, its only a question of time now. | chestnuts
03/3/2018 21:24 | sideways 11800 - 10660 | eriktherock
03/3/2018 05:03 | Just the recent high of 11700 to take out then we should have clearer air. | suffersnofools
02/3/2018 20:17 | btc has survived the normal friday drop... so now there's the sunday drop to nav. | mcbeanburger
02/3/2018 12:38 | yep, and none that I am mining are on there ;-) | random
01/3/2018 21:47 | yep ... there's no point mining a coin if diff spikes ... plenty of others to choose from. | random
01/3/2018 21:16 | debate threatens my ego. you use this site? | mcbeanburger
01/3/2018 15:13 | ... meanwhile I've been setting up my miners so I can quickly and easily switch coins. ETN and above is too mean a pool of sharks unless industrial scaled. The smaller coins can be very profitable :) ... but not for very long, the diff is very volatile ... | random
01/3/2018 15:01 | bah! :) ... precipitating debate is half the game ;) ... I thought the same till XRP went parabolic, but my "model" now is the market is in a different phase, chopping down the chaff. XRP got way too big, and BTC is becoming unwieldy without lightning (which will change everything!). The uncertainty creates volatility, which is bearish ... ... and regardless of which coin is driving the market, I would put money on them breaking the range together ... the crypto sector is oh so entangled ... | random
01/3/2018 14:07 | random - bah! btc still run tings. | mcbeanburger
01/3/2018 10:49 | XRP never got much respite from this bounce, creating a tight range. Which way it breaks will decide the direction for the rest of the market, imho | random
28/2/2018 10:05 | Another failure at the top of the downtrend channel.....will we have another pop? | suffersnofools
27/2/2018 13:49 | agreed, the white paper is all talk, no walk imho. ... till then it's a wall of worry ;-) currently the market seems filled with business interests attempting to direct a technology few understand. etn mobile mining, etc secure contracts ... pipe dreams to keep the punters happy! USDT still only 20bp over ... no buying climax yet. Liquidated the etn -> USDT ... ma's are not supportive. bch ditched as well ... spike dt. | random
27/2/2018 13:36 | yes there is china coming back factor going on. if you have some cash look at amer right now if you care | kaos3 |
