Of course but I think a little main stream can't hurt.

I am up to my bean bag in Alt coins and it is like the wild west.

I even have PLUS1 coin from ONL ADVFN.

Not many trading them yet as need a few BTC to fund the fees. A few of us have donated to faucet so things may become easier

ripple - seems to be experiment by google and not being used centrally in their blockchain stuff.

imo stick with dark coins that's where the dodgy money is going.

No advice, but I have been buying XRP - ripple. Bitindia will launch them on Indian exchange next year.

McB - ethereum network is totally overloaded at the moment due to Crypto kitties, all transactions are taking ages and require higher gas limits - all my ETH is in EOS now

no dice - try the so called dark coins - xmr, zec and to some degree dash. if ltc can config their for secrecy then maybe ltc also. Lee is a scum bag so don't trust him.

taking some money out via eth and i'm told there's a delay on withdraws on my exchange - meanwhile eth just keeps on going up.

This is fascinating to watch: as soon as the futures showed nothing doing with BTC for the next three months the speculation shifted into other CCs with ETH, XRP and LTC all going exponential since Sunday.

speaking of hilarity, since btc was coined if youll pardon the pun theres been a growing interest in it and at the same time a growing interest in LGBTQE+ and whatever else theyve tagged on it thesedyas

people that dont even know what gender they are and dont understand financial markets have seen 2 stock crashes and a real estate crash in the previos 10 years, theyre understandably scared and the libertarian unadulterated narrative of cryptotokens appeals, but what they really need is therapy... and for us all to ditch the entirely flawed system of capitalism and money that we have today, natch ;)

if you ask any gold bug why the price of the barbarous relic goes down its always the fault of shadowy groups manipulating the market using derivatives or paper gold, now theyre available on btc cryptobugs hodlers should be wetting the bed?

could always be that markets are cyclical, or that the humans that create the prices are simply fallible flawed, but simpleton punters with no humility cant be flawed!
