Makes sense for a major to double down and ask for 90% OF AN ASSET THEY REALLY LIKE if there's no fear of losing out. Ever watched Dragons Den? I wonder if BPC have alternative financing arranged and can say if you don't up the % offer then that's fine we have other funding available that will allow us to keep 100% of the asset and drill. Maybe you will want to farmin after any oil discovery?

whoppy- you've had a feeling it's imminent for rather a long time now fella.Given they need to get this drilled by 2-3Q 2020 and the drill will take a minimum 1 year to plan as confirmed by SP- then they need to get on and accept whatever if any offers they've received. if this is the case I suspect they would announce this pretty soon.If lack of progress due to holding out for a good deal (which I doubt) then that's not worked out too well for them.they will be in breech of licences and risk loosing the lot this time. including a total lack of shareholder support and trust

10% and a minimum of three wells all paid for. Or, if an oil discovery then BPC contribute 10% to appraisal drilling. Maybe a claw back of another 10% on any well success. Macquarie could leverage off any offer, and give others the chance to make an offer if they know BPC are going for a deal, who knows. I can feel it's very close.

They probably have a low ball offer from one or two parties, but have now started a formal process via the advisors to get something half acceptable.

Personally, I would take 10% retain right now to get this drilled.

The share price was always going to drift. I’ll wait until later this week and probably go in for a small top up at these prices but with a clear exit strategy if no news before a certain date etc.

Can't blame people for bailing out now there is just nothing to keep them here updates are nigh on non existent and are usually accompanied by the begging bowl.dont know how many times bpc have had said they have enough in the coffers to see them thru to a farmin and exploratory drill only to send the bowl around again and again.just take a look at the sells over the last few days.end of June if no posotive rns bpc a dead duck imo.prediction so 1p by then anyone care to differ.

It seems the majority of posters have now corresponded with BenP in some form or another-He strikes a good balance between non committal on uncertainties and projecting confidence in his company-what's telling is those conversations have been had to my knowledge for at least the last 5 years with very little change in content

Ok thanks. Sounds like he's a more than half full and, for the right reasons. Taking into account the exclusivity, which was a pretty good position to be in, then if it's better than that, we must be close to a deal.

Nothing game-changing from Ben Proffitt but asserting that the position has never been better from a BPC standpoint. Take your own opinion on that - half-empty or half-full. If half-full or better, Ben won't / cannot and will not say but he said he is far from redundant!

Hello Brettmo yes it is a deadline I have created which imo is all anyone can do due to lack of communication from the company.and also anything Ben the prophet says allegedly i take with a pinch of salt as he said over a year ago to someone allegedly all the ducks were now aligned whiich with febuarys statment by mr potter they were clearly not aligned that is why the major dumped us.tommorow 20 days left and counting.

Hi! Todpodger, What has the end of June got to do with this fantastic opportunity? I met Ben Proffitt very recently and he never said anything like that. Where do you get this deadline from? All I heard was at minimum it is steady as she goes and an optomist would say, things are looking good.Not his words, mine - but if you want to create an artificial deadline, continue in your make-believe world.
