20/1/2019 15:01 | Hi whoppy, I haven't seen a sale of that amount either so that person is still waiting and must have some info. Looking a little stronger, here's hoping for a red dot anytime soon | gismo
18/1/2019 14:24 | Hi Gismo. Yes, and I don't think they've sold. Not seen a 2m+ sell for months. It would seem they would sell in one trade much as they bought in one trade. I was thinking of topping up if it went below 1.1p but seems like it's on it's way back up. Watching closely as news of sorts should be made with MacQ or of a deal. Either way an update on what's happening would be reasonable. | whoppy
18/1/2019 13:42 | Afternoon whoopy, now that would be nice. I still think that person had inside info, you don't throw that sort of money around on a whim | gismo
18/1/2019 13:17 | It's about time we had another big 2m+ buy show up. | whoppy
11/1/2019 15:49 | It is a good question that perplexes. I can only put it down to the post Macondo event which saw Statoil pull out, who were a farmout partner of sorts, the previous governments dragging their heels on the regulations, a crash in oil prices which decimated exploration spend and saw a cutting back to the bone of costs etc. Oil prices have recovered and the government are very pro oil and the oil majors are operating much leaner now with costs tightly controlled, but with shed loads of cash at their disposal. It's been out of BPC's control, and returning to frontier exploration needs loads of scrutiny. It's really only been 4 months since September for all the other oil companies to be involved proper, so really it's not been that long to broker anything, although long enough for those to decide whether they want in or not. I presume no news means there are some that want in and they are going through all the procedures to come up with an agreement. Let's flipping hope so, anyway! | whoppy
11/1/2019 15:31 | Whoppy, Linton, et al, Whilst I share your enthusiasm and I do hold theses shares not a massive amount but enough if we get a partner or drill a successful well. All the talk of Guyana, Cuba, GOM, and companies such as Exxon, BP, Shell, its all irrelevant unless we see Bahamas and BPC with a deal nothing else matters, and they have been trying for years, it does look close to me especially with Macq on board but it looked close with the exclusivity period and sod all. The question I ask if there is 28 Billion barrels why the hell are the companies above and others not drilling it is on paper much bigger than anywhere, there must be something stopping them, whether its the Govt, licences or people don't believe the seismic, either way at present we have not moved, how can it take so long, just unbelievable it really is. | stewart4980
11/1/2019 15:18 | Afternoon Gismo. Size and scale still interests the majors here and location. Large discoveries still being made in the region. BP just found 1bn barrels in GoM and Exxon, Tullow and Total getting it on in Guyana. Cuba opening up offshore oil blocks this year due to dwindling supplies from Venezuela only receiving half the amount of oil, so the region is being looked at by majors as a place to look for oil and BPC's data and prospects are pointing towards massive finds, with just one or two oil drills needed and in a safe region with BPC the only partner with a drill ready project that they can talk to. Obviously needs careful consideration and going through in fine detail before it's a go. I think the money involved is the last consideration for the majors to be honest. A couple of hundred million dollars to drill a well or two is nothing to them, compared to the upside of billions of barrels. | whoppy
11/1/2019 15:06 | I see the idiot yoda is still flogging this share. He must be well paid by the company! Get out NOW!! | lanty33 |
