In fact - a wide spread usually indicates Market Makers dont believe they can easily sell the shares quickly so mitigate the risk by widening spread.No - nobody knows, but educated guesswork based on previous performance is the order of the day.

No one knows, but a huge spread at the moment 1.35 / 1.589p. Looks like they are trying to keep shares for themselves.

Thanks Linton - Interesting that the farmin is core focus and they haven't gone down the asset backed finance route, which is the last option. Time will tell. Can't be long now.

So that deal was a 15% retain with no cash element... in a more attractive region.

It bothers me, still, that the major walked away. Why would they do that? Maybe because they didn’t go a bundle on the seismic, the only reason that seems logical to me. So I’m down to just 100k now...will let that run and see what happens.
